Kitten like to "play" fight. They are just learning how to take care of themselves and using each other for practice. My 9 week old kittne will sleep with each other one minute and play fight about who gets the toy mouse, lol At this age their teeth cant do much damage to each other, dont worry :)

Chances are they are merely playing and one really got upset. It happens. Another thing they could be doing is establishing a pecking order. That's normal as well. Just keep an eye on them and make sure they don't do any serious harm. If their claws are very sharp, not sure if they will be at this age, you can simply clip their nails/claws just like we do. An inexpensive set of claw clippers is good for this and can be bought at Walmart if you don't have a pair. Only get the small hook end. Just the sharp part, no more. If you get too far on your cats claws you risk cutting a vein that runs there and hurting your cat. Look it up on the internet to make sure you know before you start clipping. Remember, just the small point of the hook is all you want to get.

I have a new kitten who is about 2 months old. One day the mother of baby mouschi(thats his name) came over and was hissing and slapping him. My perception was for your kittens is that they are getting used to the enviroment and now they are trying to open up to their surroundings... my advice is to let them at it. I know, it sounds mean, but they will et used to each other and they will soon become each other's best friend. My older female cat (2yrs) now acts like the older sister and teaches him how to hunt. I let them at it once and a while, if it gets too out of hand, I would put both in seperate rooms/cages.. have fun with your new babies!

If one has a different scent they wont recognize each other...either that or they re just playing...both girls and boys play VERY rough when they re little...I have 3 cats all of which i raised since they were about 3-6 weeks old...they bite and tumble and raise their hair and all that good stuff. unless they appear wounded or are bleeding I'd just let them play because it good for them.

cats are like some dogs pack oriented so they fight to see whoes the dominant one and then it makes the feeding order and so on

It's apart of their growth, trying to establish who is the dominant one. They will grow out of it.
