Every born again Christian receives spiritual gifts from God. Some take longer to figure out what they are. Mine are faith, empathy, organization, and help ministies. It would take someone of enourmous faith to do, as you call, weather control. Like Elijah or Moses performed. It isn't impossible, yet there are few on earth that have faith that great. Based on how strong your faith is and for the reason you were to do something is how much Jesus allows you to do something. It is true, when Jesus says that faith could move a mountain if you asked him, the problem is that few are of such bold and great faith to really believe that something of that magnitude would happen.

Example: When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I was arguing with an older neighbor kid about whether there was a God or not. Being a child and full of faith and not afraid, I said to the kid (high school age), if there is a God, it will rain in five minutes (mind you it was a beautiful day, no clouds in the sky). It did rain, just as I said by faith that Jesus would hear me and answer me. Now, for me to make such a bold proclamation, is scarry. One is left to think, what if it didn't happen, will I look stupid? Will they not believe me then? I hope to work on my faith to be that bold one day, meanwhile, I have prayed some pretty against the odds prayers, and they have been answered by the grace of God.

Hope this helps and I am sorry you have evidently had run ins with hateful Christians, they shouldn't be responding in such a manor. Next time they do, ask them to think about how Jesus would have responded to the same thing. I guarentee he would have not been hateful.

EVERYONE has spiritual gifts - most of us have to practice, practice, practice though. Very important to listen/feel our Invisible Self - the great Truth detector within.

Because religions and society have from the time we were wee ones pretty much disempowered us (often unknowingly), we believe that there is something outside of ourselves that has "It." We call It many things - God, Allah, etc., etc. Just imagine how life would be right now if you were raised to know that God was WITHIN - And that God is ALL That Is. "Anything" that is "not-God" does not exist.

We create the pain/horrors/discomfort through our choices - like what we think about.

Have you ever taken the time to really BE with a tree? Listen to a tree? If you want to communicate with Nature it's because Nature has something to tell you.

As far as weather goes - first start by making clouds vanish. You have to believe. It's a gentle knowing/allowing - nothing forceful about it.

Caution - if you are thinking that you want something (to happen) and are also thinking that it won't happen, those thoughts cancel one another out.

Think about people you know, and consider what you notice that they think about and notice what they are bringing into their lives. Do this very diligently with yourself. It's Fun, Safe & Easy!

I don't remember telekinesis, telepathy, astral travel, or talking to tree spirits in the Bible. I believe that I have experienced gifts of the spirit including revelations, the gift of tongues, and others. The fact is that you've got to couch questions like this in the language of the Bible, or it's going to sound like you're mocking or attacking believers, which does tend to incite ire in those who believe.

Nowhere in the Bible are these things mentioned as spiritual gifts. In fact dealing with spirits of the dead or living is strictly forbidden. Its from the devil. Spiritual gifts are for enhancing the Christian life and fellowship. ESP, Telekinesis, talking to spirits are all supported by the Devil and not the Bible. So please, don't be misled by Satan. Study the Bible and understand what are the spiritual gifts and their functions. You will be a better person.

No one is just lik God. God gives each of us some of the same qualites as him, but not all. I have empathy. Some of the gifts you listed up there aren't even real gifts. What are your reasons for hating Chrisitans? If you have any, e-mail me I would love to know them...I love God, how come you don't?

I deem myself in possession of some of these gifts.
I think the most important one the understanding that He is not responsible for the church mortals built around Him to imprison Him.

These things which you mentioned are not found anywhere in the New Testament. They are not any of the gifts which the Holy Spirit hands out. They may be gifts which the devil hands out
