Here the problem...We have this new asst. manager at work, everybody that works under him doesn't like him thar much, think think he's too bossy, but on the ohter hand I have a "big" crush on him. He's not bossy to me. He even said to me once, that he wouldn't work me hard like one of my lazy co-worker, but it's the way he say to me, that got me going all goo goo for him. I don't like when some of my co-worker say negative things about him, I just don't see what they see. I am not sure if I should keep seeing where it could lead or keep on a working level. When I am around him somethimes it feels like he likes me too. Just to let everybody know...if he wants to kiss me...I wouldn't stop him. But wait, let tell you one more thing about this problem...He 20 years old and I'm 13 years older then him.

Now what should I do...Is it wrong to have feelings for your boss? Is it wrong that he's 20years old? Should I see where it leads?

Help me!

Workplace relationships are a big danger. Never mind the age difference ... if you like your job and want to continue in it ... don't get involved in this relationship.

You need to be aware of the possibility that he's going to use his position just to get you into bed. If he's a tough boss on all the other employees but lets you slide ... I'd say that's what he has in mind. I could be wrong ... but I don't think so.

I've never been too much into age differences. Too many people make a big deal about them, in my opinion. That is an obstacle, to be sure, but not one that should be a "deal breaker".

My advice: Don't start down the trail of a workplace romance ... it leads to a trail of tears ... and looking for a new job along with it.

so he is 20 and you are 33 that cool but keep in mind if you do decide to have a relationship with your boss and if you guy every break up he could fire you.and make your life real misable you should never date any one you work with.and if your co-worker found out that would make thing worse for you so either way you would be in the hot zone and you dont need that kind of problem
you sound like you have a good head on your shoulder so use common seance.

good luck

I don't know what to tell you, I mean is there a rule at your work about you dating a boss/co worker if there is you might want to look into that.

It isn't wrong, but be careful. Let him make the first move during non-working hours off company time. (Lunch or something.) If he is digging you, let him get the shovel. If you try to be the aggressor, it could backfire. BE CAREFUL! This could be the man or your dreams or your worst nightmare.
