i'll help you. first of all, does the place where the original radio go have holes for knobs...or is it just a square? (i don't know what year they switched over to a square orafice...mine's an 84...had holes for knobs) If it has only holes for knobs...unless you have mad skill and good tools (i have both) take it to a professional place. If it has simply a square hole...remove the front plastic part of the dash face, and try to insert the "sleeve" of the stereo in there. it may not just slip in..it may take a LITTLE force...(the hole may be like 1/8'-1/16" too small). If it's really too small, then get a good sized flat file and file one side (left or right) and file the mounting area until you can get a SNUG fit on the sleeve. bend tabs on sleeve so your radio doesn't come flying out when you floor your truck (also for security). Put the dash faceing back on, get your stereo removal keys ready, and see if your stereo will fit into it's sleeve without being constricted by the dash faceing. if it IS restricted, then file the same side down as you did for the dash mounting area and retest the fit until it fits nicely. continue on with the installation from the manual...and crank up your tunes on your new stereo. more questions? message me.

First check to see if your gas tank has gas in it. then drive your truck to best buy or tweeter or something like that and have them do it. your just goin to muck it up then youll be left with a hole in your dash filled with wires

Go to www.crutchfield.com and buy a manual for $5 for your truck.
