Hi!

As someone who is young and has also struggled with weight all of my life, I can completely relate to you and where you are coming from.

With all of these people telling you to exercise, you are probably overwelmed. Sometimes when you get to such a high weight it is hard to exercise. I know!

Start small.. One step at a time. Stop drinking soda or drinks with sugar in them.. You will be surprised what this will do to you. Start drinking ALOT of water. I shoot for 100 oz a day.

Start walking.. Even if just around your block for 45 minutes in the evening. You will be shocked at what a little change in your life will do for your weight. If you can't do 45 minutes at first.. ITS OK! Just get out and move. Strive to be healthy. You have to want to do it for you.. No one else can make your mind up for you.

If you would like to talk, let me know your email address and I can help you out with some information, or even just someone to talk to! Good luck and remember, YOU DESERVE it!

I too have stuggled with weight for a LONG time. I am now following the Weight Watchers program and it is easy and it works! I have lost over 50 pounds and don't feel like I am on a "diet" at all. I have tried MANY diets and pills and some worked but when I stopped using them the weight would come back with some of it's new friends. The only way to truely lose the weight and keep it off is through diet and exercise and Weight Watchers can help you learn to do that! There are great message boards at the link I posted to help you with any questions you may have about the program! Good luck to you!

Not all diets are created equal!!
Eating is a pleasurable experience for most of us, and we cringe at the idea of being on a diet. Diets can be effective to help you lose weight but sooner or later you will want to please your palate and will return to the things you like to eat, and in most cases will overdo it and regain the weight you worked so hard to lose.

Keeping weight off is the real challenge and this can ONLY happen with a change in lifestyle. Portion control is one key change needed while eating the foods you really like the most!

Budgeting is another important principle to master...like the way you budget your money, overspending here means cutting back there. If you overeat by 2000 Kcal, you will perhaps need to cut back by 200 Kcal a day for 10 days to make up for it.

There are no miracle drugs or shortcuts, save your money for other things. Follow a well balanced diet rich in protein and complex carbohydrates.

stay away from sugar, corn, and starch. Also, away from all soft drinks, drink more water, or gateraid. Eat a half of a grateful everyday after each meal you eat, make that grapefruit your desert.

Be consistence on your diet, and try not to eat more then what you need, if you feel sorry to have food to go to waist and preferred to eat, then your body is the one that is paying the consequence, it is better the food to be throw away then you body.

I weighed 285, I weigh 240 now... I really think it's a matter of portion control and increasing your metabolism with exercise. Begin moderately...like walk 20 minutes a day and work up to an hour, slowly. It really does work but you can't do it all at once, your tolerance will increase, just make sure you keep your heart rate up. And strength training really does a lot to change shape and lose inches. If you can't eat vegetables I hope you take vitamins...Also you should avoid all high in fat foods, avoid sugar as much as possible and cut out soda. You will be amazed...Also instead of cutting out carbs just try eat the right ones, whole grains, etc...Don't deny yourself cheese and stuff, just try stay away from the greasy foods and limit portions, eat mostly early in the day.If you have to snack eat fruits, yogurt, or granola things. The walks will increase your energy level and you should lose weight quickly at first...Sometimes there are possible physical and or physiological factors to look at, I would also check with my doctor.

Hello.. I feel your pain, weight has been an issue for me for many decades. I about had enough, I talk to my Dr about Gastric Bypass Surgery. This is going to be a permanent solution. My problem is always hungry so I eat. With the surgery my stomach Will be reduce and my urges to eat will be minimized. I tried exercising but did not get results I was looking for. I tried prescription drugs, they worked but I always end up gaining back the weight. I even change my eating habits for less fatty food, still not good enough. This year should be the last one I drive myself crazy about a new plan in how to loose weight.
Talk to your Dr, it seems that you can not do this for yourself, you need help. He can help you, for starters he can give you a referral to a Nutritionist to help you understand labels in the food you buy. From there on It can only get better. Do not give up, there is hope still.

Find different ways to eat veggies. They are good roasted, use spices sweetie!! Everything tastes better with different varieties of flavor. Also, cut out the starchy carbs and go for the grains. And exercise. Just start by taking walks. If your knees are kinda bad because of the excess weight, try to find a pool you can use and do water aerobics. Any movement you can do will help. Finally, keep a positive attitude about your self and set realistic goals. Good Luck!!

Well, I used to be really overweight too. But I got the flu and lost 15 pounds on the cheap push up popsicle diet. lol. I'm not saying go out and get the flu, but try something simple. Some of those really big diets don't work so well. Start an excercise that you like and drink alot of water. It'll flatten you out and clear your complexion. I sleep in till like 12:30 and I eat two meals a day so...try that. Lol. No- but Tae Bo helps too. Alot.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter.

A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com

Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.

If you're being serious.
Corn is not a vegetable - corn is a starch, with no nutritional value, unless chewed to mush.
It is a fiber as well!
If you want to lose weight you must change everything in your life!
Complete turn around!
First stop eating your feelings!
1 helping food, no seconds, don't pile...
only in between snacks fruit/veggies
green tea after every meal
begin with walking as excise - must get metabolism going
No starch, no white: rice, potatoes, pasta...
No fried foods - no fast foods
Shall I continue...
