The existance of God is a belief only. A belief cannot be denied until there is factual proof that it is false. What you have with the concept of God is called a paradox, or it can be looked at as a theory. God can't be proven, nor can it's existance be proven false. Although I am an Atheist, I cannot prove that God does not exist. I merely believe that it does not. I have no right to tell you that what I believe is true, just as the believer has no right to tell me that what he/she believes is true. Exousia Skotos should have worded his/her phrase a bit like this: "The proof that God exists has yet to be proven. Therefore, you cannot prove it does not exist, because it has yet been proven to not exist."

Your question makes it easy for the believers. We already know that God exists and we do not need to prove it.
For the atheists, the burden of proof is on their court. For many years past they are trying to prove the non-existence of God and still trying.
As I am writing, I bring something up. The year was: 2001, post 911. All the churches were filled to capacity on Sundays for about 4 to 6 weeks. All we need is a little scare for our life and all the hypocrites who proclaim themselves non-believers race for refuge and protection under the shadow of the Almighty.

The existence of God does not need to be proven but rather accepted as it is a matter of Faith. Personal experience of God comes only if and when God chooses to reveal Himself personally to a person. That revelation is not something physical as the world is physical but is overwhelming in the mental and emotional realm as God is Spirit and not some white headed man in the clouds. For those who have never experienced the presence of God it's gibberish and foolish fables and idiots ramblings yet to those that have experienced it the result is so overwhelming that all of life itself is changed and altered and no visible or physical proof is ever needed.
Can I prove God exist? Only to the one it matters the most and that is me, to anyone else I can't prove or establish anything other than my own testimony as to changes and experiences I have had. Likewise no one can disprove God exist for all proof they can yield is physical and God is Spiritual.

In general, no, but in certain cases yes, as long as we are talking about ordinary proofs acceptable in courts rather than absolute proofs.
Regarding the existence of a particular god, it can be proven not to exist if;
- it is defined in a contradictory way
- or if it's existence would compell some kind of observable that is not observed.
- or if we can trace the evolution of the concept back to something that is not a god
But if the definition is intentionally vague so as to prevent contradiction, and if the god is defined in such a way as to leave no observable, and if the history of the evolution of the concept has been lost, then the god premise becomes untestable.

People do not create TRUTH; they reach out to comprehend it. For If the universe and our being alive in it are accidental our lives can have no lasting meaning. But if our life in the universe results from design, there must be a satisfying meaning to it.
Are there sound reasons for believing in God?
Ps. 19:1: “The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his hands the expanse is telling.”
Ps. 104:24: “How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made. The earth is full of your productions.”
Rom. 1:20: “His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made.”
A member of the French Academy of Sciences stated: “Natural order was not invented by the human mind or set up by certain perceptive powers. . . . The existence of order presupposes the existence of organizing intelligence. Such intelligence can be none other than God’s.”—Dieu existe? Oui (Paris, 1979), Christian Chabanis, quoting Pierre-Paul Grassé, p. 94.
Scientists have identified over 100 chemical elements. Their atomic structure displays an intricate mathematical interrelationship of the elements. The periodic table points to obvious design. Such amazing design could not possibly be accidental, a product of chance.
To Illustration: When we see a camera, a radio, or a computer, we readily acknowledge that it must have been produced by an intelligent designer. Would it be reasonable, then, to say that far more complex things—the eye, the ear, and the human brain—did not originate with an intelligent Designer?
Ps. 90:2: “Before the mountains themselves were born, or you proceeded to bring forth as with labor pains the earth and the productive land, even from time indefinite to time indefinite you are God.”
Is that reasonable? Our minds cannot fully comprehend it. But that is not a sound reason for rejecting it. Consider examples: (1)Â Time. No one can point to a certain moment as the beginning of time. And it is a fact that, even though our lives end, time does not. We do not reject the idea of time because there are aspects of it that we do not fully comprehend. Rather, we regulate our lives by it. (2)Â Space. Astronomers find no beginning or end to space. The farther they probe into the universe, the more there is. They do not reject what the evidence shows; many refer to space as being infinite. The same principle applies to the existence of God.
Other examples: (1) Astronomers tell us that the heat of the sun at its core is 27,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit (15,000,000° C.). Do we reject that idea because we cannot fully comprehend such intense heat? (2) They tell us that the size of our Milky Way is so great that a beam of light traveling at over 186,000 miles per second (300,000 km/sec) would require 100,000 years to cross it. Do our minds really comprehend such a distance? Yet we accept it because scientific evidence supports it.
Which is more reasonable—that the universe is the product of a living, intelligent Creator? or that it must have arisen simply by chance from a nonliving source without intelligent direction? Some persons adopt the latter viewpoint because to believe otherwise would mean that they would have to acknowledge the existence of a Creator whose qualities they cannot fully comprehend. But it is well known that scientists do not fully comprehend the functioning of the genes that are within living cells and that determine how these cells will grow. Nor do they fully understand the functioning of the human brain. Yet, who would deny that these exist? Should we really expect to understand everything about a Person who is so great that he could bring into existence the universe, with all its intricate design and stupendous size?

Everyone needs proof that their is a God, but you do not need proof that ghost exist. You are quick to believe other things that you cannot proof does exist, but when it comes to God you need proof. Why is that? I know he is really because things that are stated in the bible are coming to terms and if you would read the bible you would know that. Luck cannot explain everything away nor can science.

if you need to prove u exist, then only u need to prove that The God exist. This is becaz U can not think of and dream of anything which you have never seen, or perceived earlier by your senses . The perception of god is beyond our physical senses. So understand from your reference This U is your holy spirit (Atma) which does not vary with time.It does exist forever. your body varies with time, though it may seem to exist but actually it does not forever. Add the the dimension of time in your question and this answer will be clear.

I don't know about this Skotos fellow, but I'll tell you what I do know. God is real.
You can find Him by seeking Him. No, I can not prove to you that God exists. I can demonstrate to you that the Bible is true and that it is worthy of your time and study. Through that study, through seeking God, you will find Him and HE will prove His existence to you.
Each one of us has to choose to believe. You can believe by the evidence around you or you can choose not to believe.
Rom 1:18 For God's wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth,
Rom 1:19 since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:20 From the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse.
Act 17:24 The God who made the world and everything in it--He is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in shrines made by hands.
Act 17:25 Neither is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives everyone life and breath and all things.
Act 17:26 From one man He has made every nation of men to live all over the earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live,
Act 17:27 so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
Act 17:28 For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'
Act 17:29 Being God's offspring, then, we shouldn't think that the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image fashioned by human art and imagination.
Act 17:30 "Therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, God now commands all people everywhere to repent,
Act 17:31 because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by the Man He has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead."
Consider that just because someone does not believe something to be true, does not mean that it is not, it just means that the person either has not seen it or chooses not to believe it.
But the reality of its existence is not changed by the belief or unbelief of the person.
There is overwhelming
evidence of God's existence to those who earnestly seek Him.
Be Pro-Choice; choose to believe.

What an utterly idiotic quote!! The entire world is proof. You and I are proof. You don't happen upon a cabin in the middle of the woods and say, "Wow! All those trees just happened to fall right into place and a window flew in from a distant land and cemented itself into the right nook! And a door just formed magically!" Obviously someone was there and built it. Please, it doesn't take much thinking to believe in God. It's an inborn knowledge we have.

That's why we don not have to prove God's existence. Just see His proofs of existence which is before u and i. No one can tell us the taste of a sugar unless they have tasted it. They can give others their opinions that it may taste like this or that. But as for me I have tasted My Lord Jesus as my personal Saviour. Even I want to tell others the same Taste and see that the Lord is Good.
