There is a big difference between God and superstitions. There is also a big difference in not believing in God and being anti God. I have a hard time believing in a man standing over us all pushing the buttons but I do believe in something. I am a spiritual person, not a religious person and I think it is important to have belief in something. Depending on where you were born in the world can highly influence your beliefs. If I am not mistaken, and it wouldnt be the first time if I am lol, Christianity is one of the only religions that believes in only a male God. Most religions have a masculine and a feminine God, which makes more sense to me.....it's hard to have life without both a male and a female right? Anyway, whatever you believe is ok for you and dont let people make you feel bad for your beliefs. On the other hand, make sure you do the same for other people. Don't put down other peoples beliefs as wrong. Alrighty then I'm getting too deep and have not even had any coffee today lol.

Some people will get angry at anything. Everyone also should come to a conclusion about what they believe and accept but more important remain open to dialog and possibilities for to totally exclude any possible change in opinion is to restrict ones own education and learning. I personally do believe there is most certainly is a God and I'm sure of it but I have no way to prove it and also have no anger toward people of other beliefs. I made an intelligent decision based upon relevant facts and experiences that I have had and although I believe opposite than you I respect your right and ability to believe different or not at all.

If you don't believe in God that is your right. I don't know why anyone would get angry at this. It doesn't make me angry, it just makes me sad and makes me want to pray for you that much more. The people who get angry with you need to check there own salvation and see what the problem is. I will have to tell you that there is a God and He Loves you but He does not force you to believe, but one day you will. I just hope you don't wait till it is too late.

Yes I have. Although I would love to believe in some great and higher power that helps us we need him/her and in som grand and woderful after life. However, to date there just is not evidence. Most people who get angry is as another person mentioned, because they have fears and doubts of their own. They are usually very closed minded and almost always hypocritical as well. I do not choose to not believe so I can be selfish and do what I want. I believe what I believe because of facts and/or the lack there of. I am sorry that you have to face that. Most of the time I too feel like I cannot express myself without being judged by those who have other faiths. I do believe that religion is ncessary. Most people truly need to guide them morally and give them hope. The world would be in chaos without them. Not everyone does the right thing simply because it is right. They have to fear some eternal spanking instead. I do what is right just because it is so, which in my opinion shows more moral fiber then those who do because a book told them it was. Anyway, best of luck to you.

I think it is very arrogant of people to get angry on someone who has a different view. They think 'their god is the best' and that they know the truth. With that they place themselves above you. Like someone here said: "I am not angry but I feel petty for you" (or something like that).
That p*sses me of, it's even worse then anger.
Like you I don't think there is a 'personality' who thinks 'it all out'. If people are getting mad at me for that or feel sorry for me, that is there problem. I once heard someone saying to me that 'you can't be consciouss of yourself if you don't believe in my image of god'.'
How enormously incredibly arrogant!
So yeah, I have faced it and more then once.
I don't say I know the truth. I think that would be just as arrogant. Nobody knows, and our little human brains will never be able to comprehend the universe. I think there was an old saying: "a mystery is a mystery untill it is solved." I like that one.
I am afraid you will have to deal with people who try to convince you of their own truth for the rest of your life. That's people.
Take care.

yes, all the time. I don't believe in God but sometimes I do when I need comfort. I think that God is something human beings made up for that exact reason. Comfort and answers. People do get very angry and start peaching saying how I need Jesus in my life and that I'm going to hell. But I don't believe that so it doesn't bother me.

I believe in God. But I am not angry at you because you don't. I think people get angry because they feel that you threaten Gods existance. Those who are truly firm in their belief would not feel threatened. I believe that you should do what is in your heart, that is the best way to live.

Generally people get abgry when someone vocally disagrees with them. One of my best friends does not believe in God and I am a Christian, we just dont discuss religion, there are plenty of other things for us to talk about. What people get upset about is when someone is trying to convert them to another belief.

It certainly doesn't anger me. I just feel bad for you. You are denying a natural given knowledge of God. Everyone is born with it, but aethiests stifle it so they can live the selfish life they want without guilt. It doesn't work though. Deep down, you know it.
