Yes. According to the USA Rice Federation, cooked rice, when not eaten immediately, should be cooled quickly. To store, place in shallow container, cover tightly, and refrigerate or freeze. Cooked rice may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or frozen up to 6 months.

yes it is,,,so it is better to take it from the pot and cool..then freeze it ..use microwave when you want to eat the rice..
if you want fresh cook rice..just cook a portion that you need.
White rice can be stored indefinitely in an airtight container in a cool, dry location. Brown rice can be stored for only a half year because the natural oils in the bran and germ tend to cause rancidity. The shelf life can be extended if it is stored in the refrigerator or freezer. Cooked rice should be stored in the refrigerator and can be used for up to 3 or 4 days or it can be stored in the freezer for about 2 months.
Some rice cooker does not work very well, but there are rice cooker that is good for 2 days or so..but it is expensive.

Yes it will but after a long period of time, Have used Brown Rice (cooked) for over a week. But then it got pushed back and found later on to be very green. Maybe If you do not add anything to the rice while cooking it will last longer..No additive such as an butter or seasonings

Yes. The bottom of the dish that it is in, the rice will start to go bad there. Wild rice, white rice, brown rice. It's pretty nasty.

Your safe for 3 days. After that, mix it up from the bottom. If it has a sour smell, or if it's mushy, toss it.

Yes it does, after a few days it either turns "sour" (smells bad) or if you don't have it in an airtight container, it dries up
