Nothing of this. Those are all social habits that people wrongly think religious. It started with a religious movement called "Wahabbiyah" and the real reason was to distinguish women who follow the movement (by covering their faces), and also men who follow the movement (by not shaving their beards). Now, it came back as a method from Islamic politicians to show their influence over the people.

- women mustn't work
It is not that a women can't work it is that it is not always best. Men are financial responsible for women and it is the mans place to work and provide for his family. The man is responsible for providing and she is responsible for her husbands home. So if she works she may neglect her home and kids. Also when a women works she has to mix with men witch is not alway good and things can happen. Not to mention that she may be taking the job that a man could take. The man is responsible for providing and she is not, so she should not take the job from the man. But if she owns her own company or is in a position were she has to work all of the above is waived.

- a woman are not allowed to go out alone or with a man who is not her family
The ruling is a women is not to travel long distances with out a man relative. This is for protection and for her benefit, not to harm her or keep her from going out.

- women musn't not show their faces in public
There are two opinions on this matter. Some scholar says she has to some say it is best but not required, but the more the women can do to protect herself from sexual attention the better

- women musn't wear bright colored or white clothes in public
This is not true. We must not wear cloths that can draw the mans eye with attraction. Darker colors are less likely to do so, but we can wear lighter colors as long as they are appropriate.

- women cannot have more than one spouse but her husband can
Men and women are different in their desires. Men are not monogamous by nature. Not to mention the issue of who's my baby's daddy if she had more then one husband.

- Men must shave their moustache and grow their beard
On this issue to their is a difference of opinion if you have to or if it is Sunnah. We are supposed to look like Muslims. For a women that is the head scarf for a man that is the beard.

or they're all will be punished by the law of Syariah
These things are not something that would cause a punishment. It has to be a major sin, like murder, adultery, fornication, ect....

sheesh, where do you ppl get this stuff. Women can work, they're allowed 2 go out in public, they can show their faces in public, they can wear whatever colors they want in public, and men don't have to grow a beard, it's just tradition. Jews do it, they don't get called terrorists or extremists.
But you do have one point. women can't have more than one husband, but men can have up to 4 wives ONLY if they can treat them all equally well. Besides that barely happens anymore. He can't abuse or ignore any of them, as well as the rest of his families with each of them. It is allowed because there was a war during Muhammad's (s) time, and many men lost their lives. Most of them had left families behind. So Allah sent a message saying that the men could have up to 4 wives if he followed the conditions above.

Actually that is all wrong.

Women are allowed to work, my mom does, I'm muslim. And its totally lawful. But it depends on he job; it also must be respectful to her status of a women. (no prostitution)

Women are allowed to show their faces in public in fact it is lawful for the hands and face to be shown at all times.

Women wear bright white clothes when they make pilgramige in Mecca in the name of Allah. It is a must. So the poor and rich look equal.

Women are not considered providers so they must have a husband to provide for her if she had children or she is no longer with her parents. Men are allowed more spouses so that their will be no poor widow w/ children. Men can only have more than one spouse if they can provide for them and care for them well. Think about it. Can most women take care of more than one husband, when their salarys are already low because of the sexism today and back then?

It is not a must but just extra deeds if a man shaves his mustache and grows a beard. He gives up vanity. There is no sin in having a beardless face.

The Quran never said any of these. The hijab was worn before Islam by all women Christians, Jews who lived in Arabia and elsewhere.
In the Quran, some verses instructed both men and women to dress modestly. Various Imams have interpreted these verses differently and sadly according to their traditions .
Colours? No, in fact BLACK is very undesirable in Islam, All other points have never discussed in the quran. These are all residuals of various traditions .

As for only one man for a woman, does not this make sense?
A Muslim can only marry another woman for very strict conditions like his first wife can not have children, or sick. First wife permission is essential. Very often it is she who chooses the second wife.
- As for mustaches? no there was nothing about that. Traditionally men kept their mushtachs, and growing beard was simply a sign of devoutees just like a Rubbi or a Priest .

Why don't you find out by yourself by reading the book instead of forming an opinion/getting biased based on others' views?
