I was feeling really really bad today, and I was talking to by boyfriend on the phone, and he told me to get over it and stop over reacting. Are all men jerks?

Not all of them. Men and women understand eachother differently. Have you read, "Men are from Mars, women are from venis"? Its a good read and it actually helps in situations such as yours.
Dont worry, my gal doesnt even return my phone calls, at least your talking to your partner!

i dont know what you felt bad about so i cant help you there... but no not all guys are jerks, infacts some guys that we see as jerks can be really nice. But the guys that take advantage and just want certain things are no good.

anyway, he might not have meant to hurt you more. I would have told you that i am grateful to have u at my side. n try to cheer you up but thats just me. not all guys are jerks just some are. n they ruin it for the rest of us. so guys like me have to go out and fix the mess the jerks cause. and by what grls have told me.. Guys like me get taken quick.. although im not. anyway, im here when eva u need to talk. i dont judge n i try my hardest to cheer you up. without women, we men would be nothing so i try my hardest to make yall happy.

all guys are jerks they can't help it don't get me wrong there is some guys who aren't but they're either already taken or gay. Guys just don't know how to react to feelings they shut out i think there is something wrong with them they should come with a warning label.

No, sometimes guys don't know how to handle things. We are action oriented, and tend to want to bull over problems or obstacles. Sometimes women just want to talk, and there are guys who just can't seem to listen. I think it's more along the line of maturing into the ability to listen. Maybe someday he will learn.

no, but many young guys have short attention spans, and a less developed sense of empathy. that leaves them feeling inadequate to help you with your troubles, and who wants to feel inadequate? try a little patience, men develop more slowly in this area. or, date older guys. either way, from this senseless jerk, i hope you find someone who will listen better and make you feel connected.
