The problem is not your "voice box" but your attitude and behavior. You need to seek out a therapist and want to change your behavior. No surgeon will do what you ask so stop wasting time on that subject!!! If you really don't want to hurt anyone any more, you will stop feeling sorry for yourself and DO SOMETHING to help yourself!

Do you have tourettes or something? I mean technically yes they can remove it. I knew a neighbor who removed her dog's voice box because he barked all the time. Now it just sounds like wind passing though. But why would you want to do that? Why not just go to a behavioral therapist or a pshy. and try to learn how to control the behavior through a regimen of medication and therapy. Plus I don't think any good doctor would preform an elective surgery like that!

I believe its called a Larenjectomy (removal of the larynx).... youve seen they guys with the device in their hand that makes the "robot" sound when they speak.... thats what they use to talk after that operation... ususally done for people with throat cancer. So, any Dr specializing in cancer related surgeries would do that.

its very extreme but there are ent doctors that can do it. it would have to be a ent surgeon. on your reasons along you may find it hard to get one to do it, then again money talks. doctors take a oath and to take out anything that is not bad is unethical. you may find a doctor. your better off getting therapy as once its taken out its gone forever. you can with group or private therapy change your ways. that reversable. the surgery is not.

Hahah pretty funny... your girlfriend or wife must have really laid it on hard and heavy this time. Just tell her to get over it and you're going to continue talking like a sailors parrot and being abusive because that's just the kind of guy you are.

You don't need to have your vocal cords cut to discover harmony and silence. Go to a trip, know some place you have never been before, observe, receive, and discover communication beyond words.
