These are the same question asked twice. The people who answered the questions claim to KNOW God exists.

Read the "best answer" to the second question if you do not want to read all those answers. Wrathpuppet sums it up very nicely.

I'm not trying to prove anything.

Wrathpuppet summarized it very nicely and I'm not going to plagiarize his words. Read them for yourself.

If those who KNOW God exists do not agree, then that pretty much establishes there is no such entity.

To Aimee:

Thank you for your interest. My opinions are expressed in my questions & answers.

You are correct. I am not a teenager rebelling against anything. I am a grandfather, retired from a major corporation, and quite content with my life.

I am an atheist because there is no logical or rational reason to be otherwise.

Just wondering:

With all due respect, when you made the false claim that "science established finite boundaries," you lost my interest. Science has made no such findings, so your argument fails.

Further, if your theory involves magic, or speculating on "what if," I'm not interested because that proves nothing.

To Just wondering:

I find it easier and more logical to believe there is more than one universe (multiverse) and they have always existed. The "big bang" did not create anything, it was an insignificant event in the universes. It happened many times and will happen many more times.

The universe has always existed and always will exist. "Life" is the universe. Humans are just a tiny, insignificant part of that vast universe.

I went through and read your question and the answers. But I am not seeing how this proves that God does not exist. I'm sorry. I would like for you to email me if you would sometime, if you would like. I am very interested in hearing your point-of-view on the matter. You do not sound like the typical atheist that I have heard on here. You're not some kid trying to be rebellious; youre not someone who has a problem with authority... you really do not believe that there is a God... I'm honestly and sincerely interested in hearing all that you have to say.

The following is proof enough for me that god does not exist:

Christians say that god sits on his throne in heaven. Some native Americans say that god sleeps in the rocks. Many faiths say that god is all around us. Others say that god is separated from us by a great distance and we must try to find him. Hindus say that there is a cycle of birth and rebirth. Jews say that they shall be received in heaven.

It would seem to me that if there were a god his plan would be more evident. The fact, though, is that every culture has their own interpretation of god's will, and most of them are very, very different.

The truth is that they cannot all be right. Either people are reincarnated or they are rewarded in heaven (or punished in hell.) Christians claim that theirs is the only path to "salvation." Five billion others disagree. Muslims say that Jesus was a prophet, but not the son of god. According to a Catholic all Muslims will go to hell for this belief. According to a Muslim all Jains will go to hell even though they are likely the most compassionate faith of all.

With all this conflicting information we need to examine faith with a critical eye. Now, I'd love for there to be a heaven where I get to rejoice and be glorious for eternity, but this simply cannot be the case. Why? Occam's razor (entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem.) Is it conclusive? No. Given the evidence, is it the simplest, and therefore the most likely explanation, yes.

YOU MUST READ THIS!

DO YOU WANT PROOF OF THE POSSIBLITY OF GOD'S EXISTENCE?

I do not want to be like the typical Christian which uses scripture to shove the gospel down your throat. I will play by your rules and I hope I will help you grasp the uncomprehendable. Please read the whole thing to hear me out, for I have read all your arguments to hear you out. Let us have respect for each other as opponents.

Why do you think God must be explained in visible and practical terms? Why do you think that He must be tangible and able to be sensed by your senses? Do you think science can explain everything? Do you not believe in what science cannot explain?

Let me tell you, science cannot explain everything, even things that is it knows exist. I will use one example that I have asked many questions about.

Science has proved that our universe is finite and has an ever expanding edge. But it cannot explain what is outside of that edge. We know that something must be out there since our universe is finite, but we cannot explain what it is.

For you to say, "I do not believe there is anything outside of the universe," is ridiculous, because science has proven that there is something outside of the universe since its space is finite. For you to say, "I only believe in what can be proven by science or what is tangible," is also ridiculous since science proves that it cannot explain everything.

Another thing science cannot prove is how your big bang theory happened. It cannot explain why something birthed itself out of nowhere and created itself. And yet you probably believed that happened, right? Maybe God used the Big Bang to create the universe and maybe not.

What I am trying to say is that you cannot limit your beliefs to the explainable. There are things unexplainable, one of them being God. He cannot be explained using the senses. He cannot be explained by the laws and theories of science. He cannot be explained by any means our finite means can contrive. He is infinite. He has no beginning and no end- He has no measure. Just as our brains cannot comprehend the lack of time, engergy, matter, and space outside of our universe, for those were created with the birth of the universe according to the Big Bang, our brains cannot comprehend God. He is not made up of matter; He is not limited by time or energy; and He does not take up space. Don't believe it? Well you better, because science has proven that there is a infinite realm beyond our finite universe where time, energy, matter, and space do not exist.

Think about it for a while, but don't think to hard- we have finite brains which will never be able to comprehend the infinite that science proves exists.

**IN RESPONSE**:
Maybe I used the wrong wording. According to the Big Bang, the universe is finite, but it is ever expandingScience HAS proven that the universe is not inifinte and has been able to detect the expanding edges. In 1965, two Bell Labs scientists discovered radiation coming from all over the sky, and discovered that it was the afterglow of the Big Bang, and was on the very edge of our universe. According to the Big Bang, the universe was formed in an enormous explosion, and it has been swelling and expanding ever since. For something to expand, it must have an edge, and so the universe must also have its boundaries. For you not to believe this is to contradict your own theory of the universe's birth and so falsify your theory.

All I am asking you to do is to see that not everything can be proven by science; that is why in schools we teach math, English, fine arts, history, health, etc.- not only science. With the passing of the age of reason, man believed that everything has to be proven logically or with science. This is wrong to believe; for science cannot prove nor explain everything.

I did not use any superstitious crap, and the only "what if" I used was "What if the Big Bang theory is valid."

hey you old geezer foolish moron - God is God and offer no proof that He is. Here's what I say

I have lived without God - I denied His Existence for 24 years I lived a hopeless life without purpose - life had no meaning. All the partying and wild life brought me nothing the next day I all always felt empty and hopeless. life was not worth living

When I finally acknowledged Him As God I began to understand Life and Life had hope and purpose. Today my life is complete I am happy and enjoy life and the empty feel inside is not there.

So who is gambling me or you

If I died and you were correct than God is manmade and I die like a beast in the field and there is no aferlife I will have lost nothing because in this life I lived good and God in this life took care of me. even if God is only here I have still lost nothing.

Now on the other hand

if you die and find yourself stand before God and He rejects you in the afterlife because you rejected Him in this life - you will have gambled all and lost all. You and all like you are fools - stupid fools - some day you will stand before God and pay the ultimate price - eternal damnation!

so mock on - its not over until He says its over

You don't have to prove God's existence. Just look at the proofs of His existence and know His wonderful acts/works.

First of all, People do not create TRUTH; they reach out to comprehend it. Naturally, we are free to choose which path to take. But, since our eternal welfare is at stake, that choice is virtually important.
According to Einstein who said: “condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance.”
Without seeing electricity or gravitation Einstein believed in their existence because he had seen evidence demonstrating their reality. Without seeing “the illimitable superior spirit” Einstein believed in his existence because of the majesty and power and orderliness he had seen in the universe.

Albert Einstein, the best-known scientific theorist of this century, was led to speak of “a spirit [that] is manifest in the laws of the Universe—a spirit vastly superior to that of man.” (Note Romans 1:20) He also said : “What I see in nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of ‘humility.’ This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism . . .. My religiosity consists in a humble admiration of the infinitely superior spirit that reveals itself in the little that we, with our weak and transitory understanding, can comprehend of reality . . .. I want to know how God created this world. I want to know his thoughts, the rest are details.” (Ideas and Opinions, by Albert Einstein)

Truth is available and there is no excuse for not knowing about the Creatour.

WHO are without excuse? Let Scripture answer: “What can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. Ever since the creation of the world his invisible [essence], namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” (Rom. 1:19, 20, RS) Yes, “they are without excuse,” those who deny the existence of the true and living God, Jehovah. Atheists are on the increase according to Gallup polls. False religion has repelled many people from coming to know God. But the truth is now available to all honest-hearted persons. So there is no excuse for not knowing the Creator and Supreme Sovereign of the universe, Jehovah God.

Why are they without excuse? Because creation testifies to God’s existence: “His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are understood by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship.” Jehovah’s prophet admonishes: “Lift up your eyes on high, and see who hath created these.” Does not what we see in the sky testify to Jehovah’s power? Why, even a person with low intelligence who sees an automobile for the first time does not believe that all its parts just happened to put themselves together. There had to be intelligent supervision to produce such a complex creation; yet how much more complex is the least of God’s creation that our eyes behold in the sky!—Rom. 1:20, NW; Isa. 40:26, AS.

. your question is a bit moot, considering believers don't "need" proof. and to question his very existence is considered "doubting Him". a big no no.

however you can say the same of the non-believers...(to which i fall under myself), we don't "need" proof either, we already KNOW he doesn't. so questioning that would be doubting ourselves.

that said...there are still going to be many (both believers and non-believers) that WILL want to know if He does exist or not...i find that, that is very interesting. two groups, opposite sides of religion..and yet both still very curious to find out "who was right all along."

what if GODDESS and LORD GOD TODD who was a Larrib SL A I IV both summed up to a?

based on the pattern true=t+r+u+e=20+18+21+5=64=6+4...

then the words would be true on paper.

and He would be the emerald eyed god of JESUS christ and all things would be about HIM as bible commanded.

thus:

EMPEROR=E IVI stitched together PERIODI\
KING=IT I IV CUT
LORD=TODDI\-
GOD=CUTOD
ANGEL=A IV CUT I=_I._
DEATH=HTAED
PREIST=DI stitched together REIST

thus seven of their most powerfull words based on the body of Larry Todd Stevens.n is my answer

abaddon=a DI stitched together add on

and D=IIII

Lamb SLAIN=Larri b SIL A I IV (reading between the lines)
STOP=S as in stevenson TOD as in TODD and I as in Larry
I ARRET I as cross-section of french sign shows Larre T.
ROSSKASTANIE VON TODD as when Larry T. broke ROSES arm. The basis for the ROSARY cause if S has a hidden I in the S at the end then its ROSIARY of TOPPROSPECT fame of canada. So most words BOLDLY capitalized to somehow refer to ME.

E
II
[
i
L

so when WORSHIP NO GOD BUT ME arrived they denied it meant ME=IVI stitched together [iL

f=don=hells angels=police=loser

so if they killed christ what makes you think they won't kill god.

so god exists just not as a magical all powerfull being but as man and the love light is a real thing also.
