The branch of the military held in the highest esteem is the one a person belongs to. That's called loyalty. They all have different jobs to do and consequently the military police will perform different functions although they receive similar training. Everybody know's the Army is the best though. (Sorry. I couldn't resist.)

Army. They are the only branch that has MPs. The Air Force has Air Police, the Navy has Shore Patrol.

After ten yrs in the Air Force I am partial to the AP's, but both in Korea and Japan, I learned to also respect the Marine MP's. Finished my service in Greenland and we only had AP's there.

Go Air Force and ask for the Patrol Dogs. It's the best.

the marine corps has true mps, and we had to protect the other branches from each other
