He exists because he's my supervisor!

I forget who said this, but the idea goes: "The smartest thing the devil ever did was to convince people that he doesn't exist."

Evidence that the devil exists is all around you. Just take a look. Are people treating each other horribly? Is there selfishness and greed? Are people gunning for worldly possessions at the expense of their souls? Is there murder, rape, child abuse, torture, etc.? All of this is the work of the devil.

I personally know the devil exists because I know what is right to do, but often I am tempted to do what is wrong. If I believe that one should behave well and act out of kindness, which I do, and yet sometimes I behave poorly and act out of self-centeredness, anger, and the like, this shows that I have a conflict inside of me. That conflict comes from somewhere.

And it is also a struggle. Why should it be so difficult? I mean, wouldn't it be as simple as making a decision to be good and then being good (sort of like making a decision to tie my shoes and then tying my shoes)? Why are attitude and behavior so often influenced by strong forces that seem outside of our control? Why is it so hard to resist then sometimes? Doesn't it seem like a strong, unseen force has some sway over how you think and how you feel? Don't you ever wish you could behave better but then end up behaving poorly?

These reasons just touch the surface of how I know the devil exists.

Actually the Devil/demons do exist, but not in the way perpetrated by the bible or most public teachings. Humans are not on the top of the food chain as most may think, there are other countless other races of beings all throughout our galaxy only a little commom sense and logic would dictate that, but just as humans have controlled and manipulated lower species of animals for human benefit, humans have been use much the same, but in a more sophisticated way, today behind the scene. Although there is no one god there are beings who have deceived humans into believing that they are your god or gods, but once you question and research the concepts you may find that it's all a big show/lies, in order to control you. If you really want to see what a so called devil really is I share with you some videos to start with. Enjoy!! If you dare.

The Devil is a malicious “manslayer.” The Bible reveals that he is a real person, not just the evil in someone’s heart. (Matthew 4:1-11) At first, he was a perfect angel in heaven with God. However, he later thought too much of himself and wanted the worship that rightly belongs to God.—Matthew 4:8-10. How fitting it is that he is named Satan the Devil! (Revelation 12:9) He is called “Satan,” or “resister,” because he has opposed and resisted Jehovah. This criminal is also called “Devil,” meaning “slanderer,” for he has blasphemously misrepresented God.

The Bible clearly shows that an intelligent, unseen person has been controlling both men and nations. It says: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” And the Bible identifies him, saying: “The one called Devil and Satan . . . is misleading the entire inhabited earth.”—1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9. The Bible teaches, “We have a fight, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places.”—Eph. 6:12, NW.

Consider the cold-blooded excesses in monstrous cruelty. Humans have used gas chambers, concentration camps, flamethrowers, napalm bombs, and other heinous methods to torture and slaughter one another mercilessly. . . . What forces drive men to such loathsome deeds or maneuver them into situations where they feel compelled to commit atrocities? Have you ever wondered whether some wicked, invisible power is influencing people to commit such acts of violence?” Is it surprising that the Bible calls Satan “the god of this system of things”?—2 Corinthians 4:4.

True, many may scoff at the idea that this world is ruled by wicked spirits. But their disbelief is not surprising, since the Bible says: “Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14) His most clever deception has been in blinding many to the fact that he and his demons really exist. But do not be deceived! The Devil and his demons are real, and you need to resist them continually.—1 Peter 5:8, 9.

Happily, the time is now near when Satan and his cohorts will be no more! “The world [this wicked system of things] is passing away,” the Bible assures, “but he that does the will of God remains forever.” (1 John 2:17) Psalm 37:9-11, 29; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:3, 4.

As a Catholic I have been brought up to believe that the devil exists. There is evil in the world and the devil is the root cause.

I can not see him but I saw some pradas moving. Ha, ha. I just thought I would throw in a little bit of humor here because, 'The Devil Wears Prada' movie is showing now in a theater near you. If you look at all of nature I know of no man who can duplicate it. The bible says doesn't even nature tell you there is a God. He, God, has forewarned us about the devil who would lead us on a pathway to destruction. God's word is good enough for me.

To Sugarpie,

You have a lot of answers already, I hope you'll get to read mine. The answer is yes, the devil and demons DO exist! They just don't want it to be known. Listen closely to the voices in your head! They are there! They sound like yourself, just plain random thoughts, opinions. Make a prayer to Jesus Christ. Sincerely, and maybe audibly command them in the name of Christ to leave you alone, to get out of your head! After reading this and conclude that I'm a lunatic, then you've heard him for yourself!

Believe me, I've had multiple voices in my head since I was a child and now my life is in ruins. Only recently have I managed to drive them away. But they are persistent, relentless, and cunning. You will need help and not from churches and people that are infected with their deceptions. Mind you they are in a lot of people and those that are badly influenced are dangerous.

My best friend's mother was murdered inside her home by workers she had hired. I could practically hear what the voices were telling the murderers as they strangled her with a plastic bag. I HATE these things!! I will do everything in my power to expose them! God bless you and protect you and keep you safe. But be always aware that God cannot/will not protect you from the choices other people make if these people decide to follow these inner voices and choose to harm you or your loved ones.
