u'll just have to try other types of dog food. dogs tend to like canned food more the hard so go to the petstore and pick a few small cans to see what he likes

since your puppy is only 3 months old, it may not be completely weaned yet. Try giving it puppy formula for a couple days, then mix in some dry puppy food. Eventually, if you add more of the dry puppy food each day, it should eat it without the formuls. You might also want to try a different brand or flavor of puppy food.

What sort of dog food are you giving your pup? First off, remember that your pup requires dog food manufactured specifically for puppies, as nutritional contents vary between puppy and adult dog food.
Try mixing the dry dog food with some milk formula specially made for young puppies, so that it becomes softer and more appetising for your puppy.
alternatively, try getting some wet puppy food and mix it with the dry, and see if it takes the food.
Good luck.

Soak your puppy's dry kibble with hot water and let it set (aprx 5-10mins) until you can smash it easily with a fork. This will help your teething pup to eat what you want to give him and not make you spend more money on canned food, no-sodium broths, or switching to more foods. You may want to hand feed him until you "ween" him from your hand to eating on his own. The older he gets, the less water you can add and less time you let it soak. Or you could mix canned puppy food with his dry food, just depends on you budget.
I've noticed most puppies like the Purina Beneful Puppy Chow, however, every dog is different.
...does your puppy have a tummy ache?? worms?? shunt?? check with your veterinarian before switching foods. sometimes switching foods drastically can cause stomach upset/diarrhea.

ask the breeder or vet what kind of food they reccomend. i feed my wheaten terrier Nutro Max Puppy. dry food is the best because canned is more expensive and not as healthy. You can moisten the dry food w/ hot water and stir. that what i do. if ur pup still wont eat then add about a tbls of canned food on top and stir. good luck

Take the puppy to the vet. the vet will probably have you try a canned food diet, and/or try giving the puppy nutrical.

not sure about puppies, but be careful. My cat will eat anything she can get her paws on. I'm pretty sure a puppy would do the same thing.

Bread soaked in Milk.........
Oats with Milk........
Cereal with Milk......
Plain Butter Biscuits with Milk.........
But no matter how you have to start feeding him/her with proper dog food when he/she is 5/6 months old for his/her good health.......
Start slowly by giving either wet or dry dog food by little amount at a time.......
I know it would be a bit difficult, but this is what i did to my puppy when i was facing the same problem......
Now he eats whatever you feed him..........
Just need some time.........
Good Luck!!!

My miniature poodle Zoe hates her dog food too. When our cat's bowl is out Zoe will eat all the food. I don't know if cat food is bad for dogs, but it hasn't hurt my dog, and she loves it. (Maybe it's the fish/chicken/etc flavors)
