i called her home phone, she wasnt there, then this unknown number called me and i missed the call twice. i called her home again and that number but she still wasnt there. should i blow her off?

Call her one more time and leave a message for her. In the message ask her if she would like to go out. So then when she calls you back she can leave you a message letting you know. In the message you leave for her tell her a time to call you back so you can actually talk to her.

Yeah, it's easy to get numbers, just throw it away and go out and get another.
I think I heard 1/8 numbers are actually used.
