Oh boy. All kinds of them.
Just a couple of days ago, on Sat we had a check come in the mail. It was only $88 but to us, it's gold. So I thought I stuck it to the fridge with a magnet. Apparently it either fell or I didn't put it where I thought. So I started looking for it. My husband got up and looked behind the fridge, on the table (I was doing paperwork) and on top of the fridge. Then he sat back down and figured it was lost. I got so mad at him for not helping me more. I felt like he could have kept on looking.
So eventually I found the check put then I let into him, Big Time. I don't think I have ever been so mad in 25years. I know he doesn't usually help me much unless I ask him, but I asked several times and he didn't do anything. We were up half the night fighting,
I got so mad I threatened to leave. Our daughter was really upset with that. So he threatend to stop taking his meds out of spite which made me even madder.. All the time I had this nagging feeling that I was overreacting, but the stuborness was set in...and I wouldn't apologize for my overreaction.
We did eventually settle it, but because we were up so late fighting, we woke up too late for church the next day!

Too many times to count. Pride is a big motivator, and its one of the hardest things to overcome.

Outside of the day by day struggle? Pride is the prime root of sin. I sin daily, and am covered daily in His grace, therefore pride interferes daily!
