it's good.
I do digital editing for photos, video, and advertising. Picasa helps you in a pinch if you need something small done quick. It also organizes EVERY photo on you computer, hich is a nice feature. It still has some minor bugs, but it is worth the download.

I use and old (I mean, OLD) version of ACDSee to browse my images, it´s very fast and intuitive. And I use Picasa (rarely) when I want to browse my images by subject/folder. I never use Picasa editing tools, they are very primitive - but the interface is great and I really like its usability.
