Eternal life is promised to all who believe and follow Jesus Christ and all who have the seal of God - Revelation 7 and avoid the Mark of Beast - Revelation 13,14. Also, Revelation 22:14 tells us that only those who keep the commandments of God have the right to the tree of life. Are you following the truth of the scriptures and love God with all your heart and accept the sacrifice of Jesus his son - John 3:16. Then you still have to remain seeking after Him(God) and He will lead you into His marvelous light and deliver you when He comes again.

1 John 5:13, "These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life."
You know if you are saved by the things written in God's word.
1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
You know if you are saved by knowing where you are walking.
If we walk in the light, we have fellowship and cleansing.
The word "if" however implies there is another option.
If we stop walking in the light (the light of God's word or "these things written"), we step out of fellowship with other believers (and with God) and we step away from the cleansing blood of Christ.
So again, we know if we are saved by a study of the scriptures and by knowing where we are walking in relation to what the scriptures say.

We all will have eternal lives, but the question is, whether or not it will be a good life.
