I acutally experienced an out of the body experience but no one believes me. Is it a near death experience or something? Can it happen again?

Yes I have had an OBD....it was when I was a little girl and cut my neck very badly..I saw my mother outside praying and crying that I be OK....It happens mostly as a near death experience, but there are some that can actually astral travel,,,meaning that they can leave their bodies and come back...

The out of body experience is simply an acknowledgment that there is no end to our existence. In many ways our body, and our brain, "reduce" or limit our experience. When we move beyond that body into an awareness of our essentially energetic nature - i.e. the subtler body like the dream body - we come to understand that as the Tibetan's understood there is no "death," rather just an "in between," which we pass through before we reincarnate. The irony is that once we step out of the "real body" into the subtler body, our awareness is heightened, and not reduced. It proves to me that much of what we experience as waking consciousness is actually a dream, and vice versa.

yes and it can happen once or many times to a person. no one knows for sure what it is. cases show people can state word for word being under and everything that went on during operations. the subconscience is very powerful. i've been doing research on it and dreams for years to publish my studies and findings.
