They would probably vote for the American Nazi Party or for their own write in candidates. In the beginning of the 20th century, they would have voted for southern Democrats and towards the 1950's and 1960's, most likely the Republicans. However, I doubt they would support the main stream Republicans of today.
Also, what you need to remember is that there are very few KKK members left, a few thousand at very most.

Byrd (a West Va Dem) was in the Klan wasn't he? He was like, the grand high poobah or whatever. The old southern Democrats were very very racist. I know...I grew up with them. The Democrat party of today is not the same, and I am sure if you look through the closets of some republicans, you will find some racist skeletons as well. Racists come in all polititcal affiliations

Democrats would like you to believe the republican party. But the fact is that more black people have been appointed and elected into the republican party than the Democratic party.

nicely, if we glance on the info (i understand, you liberals hate those issues), we can see that of the only 2 cutting-edge KKKers elected to workplace, one replaced into Democrat Robert Byrd whose KKK interest replaced into standard and who replaced into elected different circumstances. the different replaced into David Duke who initially replaced right into a Democrat, who then switched events and gained one election and replaced into soundly and roundly repudiated via the whole national Republican occasion and electorate. in basic terms one solitary segregationist politician replaced events - Strom Thurmond - and to accomplish that he had to desert his racism and segregationist ideals. something of the racists and segregationists remained interior the Democratic occasion, alongside with the racism driving those ideals. The racism of the Democratic occasion immediately is basically as obtrusive to the attentive observer. that's no longer the overt Jim Crow racism of yesteryear, however the fashionable racism of low expectancies, condescension and paternalism, and the wear and tear it has completed to black united statesa. is irreparable.
