Hey Googsy,

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a tool developed by obviously Abode. Although the software takes about 3 minutes to start up, it adds a sense of ease to people's computer life style. It offers streamline document that are visible but not editable. This is an advantage to people writing books. You can also create standard forms and send media in its Pro version which does cost quite a bit of money. Anyways to answer your question, Reader enables the freedom of compatiblity for anyone willing to download the free software to open a document. It is also good at archiving materials, and great at receiving a summary on your tax returns. I highly recommend people to download the software and convert documents (like Word, WordPerfect...etc) to be one standard format (PDF). I hope this answers your question. Adobe reader will let you open the popular file format, PDF, which is used for scanned documents, written documents, and becoming more popular as gov. agencies and other large businesses are using them every day.

Adobe Reader is a program for .PDF extensions. this files is for read only like books etc...
