Anxiety is really a very common problem. However, given the other symptoms you have described, it sounds as though you need to seek a mental health professional right away. Thoughts of death and suicide are serious and may need to be addressed immediately. Go to your nearest hospital and tell them what you are feeling. If you have a therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist that you are already working with, make an appointment right now and tell them over the phone the same things you described here. You are important and there are people in your life who need you.

There is a wide range of people with anxiety related disorders and your symptoms seems to be just like that.but there is a combination of various symptoms and the best bet would be seeking the help of a professional be it a psychiatrist or a psychiatric social worker. There are many therapies available to treat anxiety and the best thing to do is find out the source of the anxiety. The Professionals know how to go about with the treatment procedure.there are medications available but you need to follow the medications as prescribed by your Doctor. You should not stop medication without Doctor`s advice. Don`t think you are crazy, its just like any other physical problems, seek medical intervention at the earliest to have speedy recovery.wishing you speedy recovery...with regards Madee.......

Yes my friend I have that problem. so far no drugs have helped me. People say too think positive or just get over it. But after going through countless traumatic events in my life, the last one took the cake, physical injury, being dumped because of physical injury, now the mind is shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I too hear those little voices, that say WHO NEEDS THIS ****! But I'm told it will pass, so i hang on listening to all the positive people who have positive lives, meanwhile I go a little more insane each day with no clear answers or help. But for some people medication works, like my brother who is on anxiety meds, he also isn't injured or been dumped though.

I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and so does my mother. We both take medications; hers works, mine doesn’t, so I see a therapist-and I feel significantly better. Talk to your doctor about upping your dosage or having a med change, and ask if therapy would be beneficial as well.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.
Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

i don't think i do, although i get really nervous sometimes in situations and i don't know why always. but it's not a huge problem for me i think. anyway don't worry, you're not the only person with anxiety... lots of people have it.. famous people... i dunno if you like the band green day at all but the lead singer billie joe used to have anxiety really really badly.. that's where a lot of his songs came from .... also the bassiest in green day, mike dirnt used to have panic attacks.... the "panic song" was written by him descrbing that and "basketcase" by written by billie joe....
Basketcase- Self explanitory, this song is about someone who is pananiod. Billie Joe suffers from panic disorder too, so that has some contribution to the song. "The only way I knew how to deal with it was to write a song about it." - Billie Joe
from www.greendayonline.com
so as you see you aren't the only one. i don't think they have it anymore or as badly cause they dealt with it.. maybe took some meds for it i dunno. fact is they got around it. you can too, talk to someone about it your doc or someone.

My sister has the same problem. She can't go into a store and it is getting harder for her to go outside.
Medication does not seem to help her either.
I know my sister is not crazy. This happens.
