I don't know where you keep your litter box but I do have two suggestions. One is move the litter box to the areas he is going in until he is a little older and has learned to use it all the time. The second would be to try a different type litter. There are several on the market. With a little patience he will probably out grow this. Good luck.

I have 2 cats of my own and i have never had this problem, but i know ther are different sprays that you can get at pet stores to help them stop going where they are not suppose to. also you might want to contact your vet to see if there is somethindg wrong with the kitten.. you may also want to try changing to a different brand or type of litter maybe you kitty is trying to tell you something.. maybe there was another cat in the hoouse at one time that used the hallway and living room as the litter box

You can lock your kitten in a small room with just the litter box for a few days. this will give her no option but to use her litter box. If you talk to your local veterinarian they might be able to help too. There is also a product that you can get from a veterinarian called litter attract. You sprinkle this product on there litter and it attracts the kitty to the litter box. I have used this and it works great.

Keep showing him the litter box and keep it clean. Watch him all the time and when he is about to do it in the living room, pick him up and put him in his litter box - but be kind so he won't think of it as punshiment. Then praise him & pet him when he does it in the litter box.

you are basically this kittens parent, and we all know that once our parents start doing something its no longer cool, so if you start pooping in the hallway, the kitten will not see it as being rebelious and start going in the litterbox, good luck!

First thing.. make sure his litterbox is always clean. You might want to take it to the vet to check for worms.

always make sure his box is clean , that's 1 reason why cats start pissing in other places , and by all means get a squirt bottle and next time you see him doing that , squirt him and pick him up and put him in his litter box and tell him hes bad

When you see him do it, tell him NO and show him to the litterbox. Pretend like he is a dog.
