egg and beer, keep it trimmed, use only wide toothed combs and start from the bottom, only blow dry on cool, i use salon shampoo twice then condition for several minutes before final rinse, never use a brush!!

Don't comb your hair while it is wet.
Get regular trims to keep the dead ends from splitting all the way up the hair strands.
Use a professional shampoo and conditioner. The stuff you get in the store is JUNK!
Don't overstyle your hair and don't use a lot of product in your hair.
Don't get your hair permed, color treated, or "straightened". MAJOR damage alerts.
Avoid using rubber/elastic bands - they will break your hair.
Use a hair serum on the bottom tips of your hair and blowdry your hair upside down for 5 minutes to "set" it.
This should help considerably. Good luck!

Try using the same shampoo and conditioner (a name brand one), I've seen some that say they will make your hair soft so you might want to try those out. Hope your hair turns out nice, girls with nice hair are awwwshummmm!

it depends on the type of hair that you have. Curly hair needs more moisture (and skipping of washing) than other hair types. If you have fine hair or oily hair you need less moisture (yes, oily hair can get dry). When you moisturize, make sure it doesn't collect only at the root, but is distributed all throughout the hair. Infusium 23 works really well, along with the other suggestions (especially the cholesterol).

Cholesterol (sold at most beauty stores) works GREAT!!! Put it on your hair, wrap your head in plastic wrap, blow dry it all over for 10-15 min., wrap a warm towel around your head...watch TV for a half hour or so and then shower as normal and your hair will stay super soft for a week or longer!!! I also put it on my hair after I'm done swimming...it works GREAT at the beach to keep your hair from getting fried by the sun and salt!!!!!!!

Try some type of hair serum. Like I use Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weigthless anti-frizz serum. It's a liquid you leave in. It gets rid of frizz and makes yuor hair really soft and shiny. It costs about six dollars and you can get it at drugstores or wal-mart or k-mart.

Two oldie but goodie rinses.

1. about 1/4 cup vinegar to a quart of water. Rinse thoroughly-- get rid of all the built up residues from your hair.

2. a bottle of beer rinsed out well will work too.

You can start by giving yourself deep conditiong treatments and hot oil treatments and try to avoid alot of heat if your hair is over processed by chemicals. You can also try aul Mitchell Leave in Conditoners or Aveda Products.
