do you think that yahoo should put a search facility in the section that holds all the questions you have answered, to find either a queston or the person who asked the quesiton, if you know that users name.

Why not? that's the whole purpose of Q & A ..to promote the search utility.

The search utility is in the box over the questions. As long as you know the question or some keywords you can search for it. A seperate facility just for your answers would increase the programming and database size needed.

i think it is a good idea not to make it compulsory because a question can be subtly different but there are some sexual questions that are on here with alarming frequency, that if they are genuine dont really need to be asked
