He is always loud, rude, and mean. They are dirty and make the neighborhood look bad. I am in a lease so I can't move for a while.
They also block my driveway occasionally, its as if he is looking for a fight. Any suggestions?

You should be able to break you lease. If you are not able to live in peace and enjoy the property you are leasing your landlord is in breach of contract. Tell him that unless the situation with your bad neighbor is resolved you will move out and void the contract. Document everything you do and talk to a lawyer.

I have the same problem....They have even threatened me once. I told my landlord and he told us that we are adults and need to act like it! the kid plays his music so loud it rattles my walls, and when he fixes his car he blasts the music right outside my daughters window when she is napping. the mother is a ***** from hell and will bang on the wall if I drop something on the floor. I cant stand living here anymore but cant move because I have a lease to. they also block me in the driveway or park so close that I have no way to get my kids in the car. I have left notes, complained to the landlord, and even tried to talk with the mother and her boyfriend to try and resolve the problem...nothing worked. well the last straw was when the kid was spray painting his car and in the proses painted my car too!!! well my lease is up in Oct. and we looking to buy a house. I did recently have a talk with my landlord and he started to understand and got down on them and also said if it was that bad then I should call the police. I wont because I don't want to make the problem worse...so I am just going to deal with it until I get my own house, because there really isn't that much that can be done.

Try and have a word with him. If that fails Ignore him. Trust me. That is the best way. Show dignity where he is showing none. If that fails then involve the police and try and get a restraining order. Alternatively hire an ex-Special Forces person to leave some 'interesting' reminders for him around the place to let him know you are p*ssed off.

your in a bit of a sticky wicket! people who dont care, cannot usually be reasoned with...you made just have to bide your time.. but if you want a tip: phone calls to the police dept. for noise, or a car blocking a driveway can be done annonomously. if there are other neighbors, that feel the same, the will not know for sure you called.

Don't entice him.
Even if he is breaking the law, getting the police or landlord involved will probably stir things up and make matters worse.
See if you can get out of your lease early.
If not, it may still be better to move and pay a penalty than to do something rash and end up in a fight or in jail !!
Patience, patience, patience..... then move far, far, far away!!!

Go to your landlord and tell them about your neighbors and that you feel that the lease has been broken. IE blocked driveway.

you should talk about this with a representative of the local police. Maybe they'll pipe down after a few taxes. They have no right to disturbe your life, or anyone elses. I have wierd neighbours, that liked to have fun by leaving threat notes in my mail box. I went to the police about it, and suddenly, everything was back to normal. It is one of your human rights to have a life.

I know it will be hard, but try treating them with kindness. Rude, mean people hate this - especially if they are looking for a fight and you don't give them what they want. ;)

Go to your city hall and talk to code enforcement and the police. They will make him clean up. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about *** holes.

Go up to them wearing horns and carrying a trident and say..........
" You already make life a living hell for everyone around here, now its time for you to feel the fire."
