You can change the text orientation in drawing objects, such as text boxes (text box: A movable, resizable container for text or graphics. Use text boxes to position several blocks of text on a page or to give text a different orientation from other text in the document.), shapes, and callouts, or in table (table: One or more rows of cells commonly used to display numbers and other items for quick reference and analysis. Items in a table are organized into rows and columns.) cells so that the text is displayed vertically or horizontally.
In Microsoft Word....
Click the drawing object or table cell (cell: A box formed by the intersection of a row and column in a worksheet or a table, in which you enter information.) that contains the text you want to change.
On the Format menu, click Text Direction.
Click the orientation you want.

Are you using MS Word to create the flyer? If so, insert a text box and then turn the text direction to whichever direction you need it, then copy and paste the text boxes all the way across the bottom of the page.
The links below will show you how to create a text box. Once it is created, to turn text in the direction you need, do this:
Open the Text Box Toolbar by Right-click on any Icon and choose Text Box.
Select the Text Box and then click the last Icon labeled Change Text Direction a few times to get the text going in the desired direction.
The Text Box will have to be resized to accommodate the text.

If you are in MS Word you can go to tools then insert, then word art... type your # in then click to rotate it. Copy it over and over again across the bottom.
If that doesn't work you can go the long way and type it out For example if your number was 555-1234 you would type 5's across the top line then 5's again, and each new number on new line so it would like similar to:
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5
1 1 1 1 1
etc etc etc .. It takes forever but works.

When you use Microsoft Publisher it is already set up to make flyers of this type. If not, you can always open a text box, use size 8 -10 font, and rotate the text box using the little green dot at the top of the box.

In Word I make 2 documents. One for the regular flyer portion and the second I create a document in panoramic format and type the phone numbers on the right side of the paper. Then I feed them through the printer again.

Create a text box in word, put it at the bottom and then rotate it and just copy/paste the box over a few times until you get what you want.

insert a table into the document, and add your pull off tabs in the table. Most word processor tables allow you to make verical cells. Each word processer works a little differently, so giving you exact directions would require knowing which one you're using.

If you are using Microsoft Office then you can to an:
Insert -> Text Box -> Vertical
Then enter your text, drag th box to the shap you want, hit Ctrl-C to copy the box and Ctrl-V a few times to make copies. Arrange along the bottom.

Sure, there is a horizontal option on your word processor. Cut little cust in the paper after printing.
