Does it seem like that girls becoming a lesbian and being bisexual is trendy? Not that I am against it, but it seems like a lot of girls you see in the clubs making out with other girls seem like they may be doing it to turn other guys on. My cousin recently came out of the closet and told me she was a lesbian...no big deal, but she just got divorce and has a 2 year old son and now it seems like she has more guys hitting on her than ever...She says she still likes guys and all she ever talks about is how hot guys are, never how hot woman are. I guess what I'm trying to get at is are girls doing this just to get the guy? No hateful answers please....

Thanks for all the great answers!!! Please don't get me wrong, I have a lot of truely gay friends and when I look at them I don't see there sexually as a problem, but when I see these girls that are acting like...well, for example, all these girl that appear in the commercials for "Girls Gone Wild" I just want to say who are you fooling...It just seems that girls are whoring themselves out to seem attractive to the guys who aren't going to care about them tomorrow. It seems that if you really want to be attractive to someone, you should be able to be yourself.

YES! I agree. What is going on here? Are women that desperate to get a guys attention that they have found another way to pretend to be something they are not? That's really sad! We all know just about every guy on the planet wishes his girlfriend was at least bi curious so he could have a threesome. That doesn't mean we have to do this!! It's crazy. If you are a lesbian that's one thing but to pretend is just weird.

I have to agree i think the same way there seems to be more and more lesbians then ever . Some say its because they find more comfort and compasion with another woman then they do a man especialy if they were in an abusive relationships. Some after a divorse or seperation just go on a distructive streek or the i dont care any more i want to have fun and well they end up there to.I think cause its more exceptable in society and a little more atractive between woman then 2 men and thats why i believe we see that more offten but this is only my opinion doesnt mean its the right one and the thing is you realy dont want to do something to just get a guy especialy if you are uncomfortable with the idea.

It's funny, because I find that girls who are serious about exploring their lesbian nature don't want others to know too much because it does make guys crazy with desire (and a true lesbian can get very annoyed with this).
I wouldn't be surprised if the girls in the clubs were making out to get the attention of the men - it's a good plan even, if all you want is sex (because any time they look at you they will be imagining you kissing your girl friend).
Based upon what you say here, it almost seems that your cousin is not a lesbian, but thought it would be a great way to get out of her marriage (maybe even be particularly hurtful to her husband while turning him on at the same time - then leaving for the final kick in the crotch).
Peace!

It's absolutely true. Not that it's any knock against someone who's genuinely gay or bisexual, but there is a whole trendy vibe now, to heterosexual girls playing the part to be 'cool' or appeal to guys. A lot of girls talk the part, and will even kiss a friend to fulfill their quota every few months, but use it as nothing more than an act to draw in any guys stupid enough to go for it.
Personally, I don't see the appeal, but whatever. Yeah, nothing turns me on more than a girl telling me that she wants no part of me, or my gender. Logic? But whatever.
And keep in mind that this is spoken by someone who's been literally full out stalked by a 'lesbian' before. So I'm not just spouting off, "I heard," or, "I saw," from some whore at a nightclub.
It's horrible to say, but it's the truth. A lot of girls today pretend to be gay/bi, just to make guys want them.
It's even more horrible to say that a lot of guys are idiotic enough that it works.

Well, some girls are doing it to get attention for guys but i do not think that you should become a lesbian. Yeah guys are hitting on the girls more but it is gross. Lesbians and gay people if they dont change their ways are going to hell. It is what a lot of girls are doing know but you shouldn't. It is trendy for right now but some girls just are because they think other girls are hot and cute.

it may be the case that although she is truly attracted to men, they have disappointed her a lot, and is using these behaviors to elicite more male attention, giving her power over the gender who has stolen hers. human behavior is strange, but all of it is only to get some very simple needs met: to love and be loved, to feel important, to survive, and to experience variety. we could make this life a lot simpler by simply being honest all of the time, and being direct about what we want. all the manipulating and behind the scenes directing really complicates life.

i think that some women pretend to be lesbian or bisexual just because they know that it makes men go crazy. it isnt real for some, just a show. if a woman was really lesbian, i think they wouldnt be flaunting it in front of men. just a thought though.

I've thought the same thing myself and even had my sister-in-law tell me her college professor said the same thing in class. Looks like a lot of people have the same opinion. I guess its the new trend. Guys like it.
