Yes and no. An equally sized woman with the training and athleticism could very well take down an equally sized man.

Now whether a woman's legs are stronger than man's depends on whether the woman is in better shape. If she's built like Venus Williams then I'd say yes she's stronger than most guys out there. If you're comparing her to The Rock, then no.

It may be possible that there are some women stronger than some men, but that would depend on the level of strength training either athlete has had. Through proper training men are capable of developing more strength than women. It's just a fact of life. We produce more testosterone and thus are capable of training harder and developing more muscle. Check out any of the powerlifting web sites out there and you will see that the world records are much higher for men than of women in the same weight classes. For example, the American open division deadlift record for men at 114 lbs is 509 lbs. For women it is only 413 lbs.

As far as who would win in wrestling, that depends on skill. I've seen male wrestlers beat stronger opponents because of skill, so I don't see why it would be any different for women.

All things being equal, women have about half the upper body muscle of men and about the same lower body muscle.

The increase in upper body strenth and the better balance as a result of the higher center of gravity should give men the advantage in an otherwise equal opposite gender wrestling match.

No her legs are not stronger than a his. As far as a woman beating a man... If he is an untrained wrestler then possibly, but if he is trained then her chances are 0-5% It is simple physics and human biology-Men are designed to be stronger and more aggressive in order to protect their gene pool.

A) Absolutely not. That's why the best men are better than the best women at sprints, squats, leglifts and anything else to do with strength or speed of the legs.

B) Depends on the skill level.

The big difference between female and male muscles are the chest muscles. We can both do sit ups just fine, but women generaly are crapy at push ups. To get in to the army, a man has to do four-teen push ups, but a woman only has to do three.
Though, the sit ups for men and women are the same, so I dunno if their lower body is stronger, but I doubt it. Also, females don't have to run as fast as males.

i've personally never experienced it, but i think that yes, a woman's legs are stronger than man's. or perhaps they know how to utilise their legs to their advantage.
yes, she can definitely beat a man using her lower body (don't they always). see any mixed wrestling video. or see tennis (both men and women), and you'll know what i mean. women's legs always seem well toned and firm than men's.
