No need to think of suing anyone, whom would you sue? The chicken that produced it? Then you might as well sue every mother out there who has a child born with a birth defect. But that's just it. You opened a chicken's egg. If you opened up a human's egg, there would be blood too. Formed eggs are merely embryos that haven't developed yet. There's is always the chance that one egg is slightly more developed than the other. It's just nature.
I also opened an egg that had more blood in it than yolk. It just happened to be on the day of my brother in law's wedding. He was in the kitchen too and we just looked at each other when we saw it, and he calmly threw it out and got another. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that his marriage lasted less than one year.
Look. It's bound to happen to everyone at one time or another, but some see it as an omen.

Spots of blood, or blood in an egg, means that it is a bad egg and should not be eaten. You cannot sue, though, because nature controls the eggs. The companies just sell them.

There is nothing wrong with the egg. It simply means that the egg has been fertilized. Some people actually pay more for such eggs because they are supposed to have a higher nutritional value. I don't know about that, but I do know the egg won't hurt you as long as it does not smell funny.

That means the egg was fertile. You killed a baby chick.
Just toss it.
Eggs are candled before packaging but once in a while they miss one.
Any one that has lived on a farm will find this a lot.

only thing you can do is get your money back. that happens when the egg has the starting of the embryo but doesn't make it. i bought eggs once and part of a dead chick came out. that was sued on as i couldn't eat eggs or even see them without getting sick. the plant is responsible for making sure the laying hens eggs and the breeding eggs don't get mixed.

Don't think I have ever heard of anyone ever suing a company because of blood being in their egg. You can expect to find that once in awhile, so just throw it away and get another egg.

I once had to throw away 1/2 pound each of butter and sugar. I no longer buy natural raised eggs. Never thought of suing anyone, I just threw the whole mess away.

Eat it. Considering what eggs are and where they came from, there's alway a little blood in there. It wont hurt you..maybe gross you out a bit.
Crack em all open - you will find that there is a speck of red in all of them. Completely normal.

Just eat it--it won't hurt you. Just means that if you hadn't cracked it, it could have produced a chick. It was a fertilized egg, that's all. No harm, no FOWL! ha ha
