Despite how cold it is, I saw the other day that these two Mormons were wearing the same white short sleeved shirt and trousers. When it is like 4 degrees celcius at night.
I know they have specialised Mormon (all over)underwear, but seriously how much can that protect from such cold weather.

Mormons can wear whatever they want. The Mormon Missionaries do have a dress code of slacks and white shirt and tie, but when it is cold they can wear a coat. Of course being twenty years old the particular ones you saw were probably just being stupid by not wearing something warm in cold weather. Or maybe they were from someplace even colder than where you are and they thought it was nice.

Well, just so you know, not all Mormons go around in white short-sleeved shirts. Those Mormons you saw, were Mormon missionaries. Mormons wear normal clothes just like you. Missionaries wear white shirts, but they can be long or short sleeved. In colder areas they also wear suit jackets, and coats depending on the temperature. I'm MOrmon, and I work at the Gap. I would be fired pretty quick if I refused to wear anything but a white short-sleeved shirt.

I am a Mormon and was in Poland for two years as a missionary. It was very cold, and I wore a heavy coat, gloves, and a hat. The "underwear" (actually called garments) we wear are more for spiritual protection as a reminder of covenants we make in the temple...not as protection from the elements. Missionaries are to wear a white shirt and tie during their service as a missionary, but Mormons can wear whatever clothing we want. what? I know that there are mormon missionaries who always wear a suit and name tags - but if it's cold I see them wear coats.

I dated a mormon. and I know only one normal one...
I just think mormons are strange. they have the book of mormon, not th ebible and they claim that john mormon found ancent scriptures...in the middle of the american forest
Im sorry I just don't buy into it
they do it because they have to. it's theire dress code when spreading the word I guess.
