No one can see the face of God, only Jesus, so if some person came up and said they were my God i would pat them on the back and say wahoo, lay off the dope.

If someone came up and said they were Christ, i would probably do the same. Since the flock knows the sheaphard, I would know that it wasnt him.

Besides all those things, God wouldnt have to state who he is... people would KNOW. Thats like saying a nuclear explosion would need a lable. You'd KNOW a nuke just went off.

doodoodooo!

We need to talk! God is a spirit and No Man sees God and live. We worship God in spirit and truth, Read Roman 10:9-10 to be saved. God is omnipresent. God is in the spirit world, you see there are 2 realms, the natural and the spiritual.

If a person, came up to me and said that. It wouldn't mean it was true.
Now with God being omnipotent , God wouldn't have to be something to talk to anyone.
Many people joke by saying that, unfortunately
and if God really came to me, I would talk to him like anyone else, asking How he was doing, and why show himself to me and not anyone else..... and I would thank him for all he has done.

If God ever speaks to you, you will know it is God. There will be NO DOUBT. That is not His usual way in this world today. But Yes he could do as you suggest.
I can assure you that you will one day see God. At either of the two judgments. For those who have rejected Him in this mortal life. Or, for those who have their place in Heaven assured. It is your choise which to attend I would suggest you do not want to attend the first one.

God has spoken to me. Twice. But I have not seen Him. Just 10 words. 7 the first time and 3 the second time 29 years latter.
I was not of the Christian Faith the first time. But I sure knew who was speaking... and it scared the s**t out of me.
The second time was on the day of my first public demonstration of my Faith in Him. The second day of my Salvation. Just over 6 yrs ago. Those three words assured me my place in eternity

I would know they were not my God. The bible makes it clear that no man still in the flesh can look upon the face of God and live. So I think I would just assume they were crazy and keep my distance.

And ask questions that only God and I Would know.

The first question would be how did you help me come back to you. This is the big one.

Because God has already revealed that its only in Christ we come to Him and that His next coming all will see and know with out a doubt I would try to find out if this person was himself deceived or if he was a deceiver.
