I am not sure what city you live in but, this is a great day to be out in places like the parks, or at special events like a Taste Fest like the one in Chicago, "The Taste of Chicago"
Or like the Parade they are having in the Western Suburbs of IL, for The 4th of July, or maybe some cook outs, I would go some place where there is a lot of things going on, there will be a lot of people out and about today......
and then there is always the after sets, like on the Lake or the beach where there will be fireworks, that is a nice place to be today, good luck...
Oh Yeah! why not try the Internet for your local area, to find out the hot places to be this evening, or afternoon!!!!!

under the fireworks, It's always hot to be in a place of dangerouse sounds and sites, but totally safe. Just walk up to him and say something like " sure is scarry with all of these "boom's" mind if i sit next to you? You look strong enough to protect me from some stray rocket ;)" then wink...and if you got it going on... You'll get him,
