i mean im a brunett and sometimes i have blank moments an people call it a blonde moment. and a lot of blondes are really smart, but now some blondes think they are adorable because they have shiny hair and are stupid sometimes. NOT ALL BLONDES!!! so what is it with stupid blondes getting popular? and guys why is so attractive about a stupid blonde? oh thier bodes, right... sick guys... ok answr my question people

becoz it is just anotherr word to replace them as ugly or there is just not alot of people look nice with blone hair so it is kinda rare.

It is a stereo type. Don't you ever watch TV with the Big busted girls running through the woods in terror, or down the beach with the blonde hair bouncing in the wind? Some one in TV or movie land thought blonde was in so, people aspire to be like a 'beautiful life guard, or camp counsel' and have every blonde hair in place at a moments notice. Yet still not know when the 'killer' is coming or the 'small child is going to be eaten by sharks' Just stand there and look blonde and beautiful and STUPID but still save the day in the end!

I honestly think blondes are dumber for some reason, but some dark haired girls are really cute, or red heads, there is just something about a blonde with a dark suntan that is attractive, or a brunett with light skin, I have an adopted 3 year old who is 1/2 mexican and has blonde hair and dark skin, he is a fox and will really be a heart breaker when he gets older. He looks like a surfer dude with blonde hair and dark skin.

Its a stereotype from a long time ago. Someone who was blonde and popular in a movie (like black and white, silent film-way before Marilyn Monroe), must have been a little dingy, so they called them a dumb blonde and the stereotype stuck. These days the 'blonde moment' has been defined by all the blonde jokes, which are pretty funny.

They aren't -- it's just the other way around. Blonde girls are called stupid. (And they aren't, either, but that's how the jokes go.)
I suspect it's typecasting: blonde has been a favored hair color for centuries, even among the ancient Greeks and Romans who were seldom natural blondes. Brunettes (this is a guess) got even by spreading the story that blondes got ahead by using their beauty to snare rich or powerful men.

Well, Most girls who want to look nice (SLUTTY!) will dye their hair blonde. These are the women who are missing a few brain cells, an expression used commonly is "A blonde moment" meaning that a blonde woman/man said or did something stupid and to maybe escape blame or make a joke, they called it a blonde moment.

But most mean girls t my school are either red heads or have blond hair and lets just say they are not that bright

I guess because it is fun to do it.
Hadn't really thought about, but you are right. And no, I never told the jokes to make fun of a particular blonde. Some of them are quite intelligent. It is almost a cultural trait to do that at this point. My sister does that, and she is a blonde. And not stupid.
I think it might extend back to the valley girls days. You know, "Gross me out, gag me with a spoon".
It might go back further than that. Miss America contestant: "I want to be a veteranarian, because I love children".
And let us not forget Dan Quayle...
And you know, it might just come down to it is the one group we can make fun of these days without being slapped by a lawsuit, ya know?
But I just so love the mental picture of them peeling M&M's to eat them...

If you're a smart blonde, you don't need to be intimidated by anyone. And ask yourself this: How many blondes are real blondes? These jokes are no different than any other sexist/ racist joke. Be who you are. Brunettes are gorgeous!

I think that misconception came to be because people who supposedly look attractive do not really need to think because they can get what they want with how they look . . . but I really don't know. I do agree with you on the part that not all blondes are stupid, though.
