There is a problem with this question as the conclusion does not follow on from the question. Just because evil exists, doesnt mean that God doesnt. The mere fact that there is much good in the world would then mean, by the same reasoning, He does exist. Consider that more children survive then do die from evil acts by people - otherwise we wouldnt be here!
So the conclusions can be one of the following:
1) God exists but cannot stop the evil
A possibility but our concept of God being all-powerful does not allow this.
2) God exists but He allows the evil but is not evil in intent
This the Islamic position. We have been give freewill to choose between doing good and bad actions. Unfortunately some choose to do bad. They will be called into account for those same actions when they are judged before Him.

Where do you get this stuff? Certainly not the Bible. There are evil people because God wanted us to have real existence. He could have created people who could only do his will. But that's not a person, that's a robot.
So he gave us free will, even to the extent of breaking his laws. There is no heavenly punishment for earthly sin. No lighting bolts blot out terrorism. But that only lasts for usually less than 100 years. Then, the body is gone and the eternal soul is left.
Then Jesus makes his judgement and the penalty or reward for how we chose to use our free will is meted out. And that lasts forever.
As for children, they were special to Jesus because of their innocence. And the most dire warnings were issued to those that would harm them.
As for Only The Good Die Young, it's a great song title, but you won't ever find it in the Bible.
And, finally, if taking the innocents before they were ruined was part of his plan, I don't guess we would ever survive to adulthood.
Your basic error lies in thinking that what "they say" could ever have any real significance. What "they say" is only human opinion about how God runs the show. And he doesn't really pay any attention to "them".

Why is there so much bad (evil) in the world , because when you have a baby that baby is born not only with instinctual behaviour patterns but also with a 6th sense it can tune into emotions and feelings and understands what fear is if it is exposed to fear in its environment. now this being said that presents the fact that human beings are very sensitive creatures and we know environment has an effect on our lives . Therefore a harsh environment will create these so called monsters that perpetrate evil in society . Ultimately we are the masters of our reality and we have created the world today as we know it. Its about time we took responsibility instead of blaming Satan or who ever.

If god is all good, why did he make so many evil people?
Free will isn't the answer. The evil people didn't choose to be evil, since god, before he made the evil people, knew exactly what choices they would make. So he made them deliberately evil. They were destined to go to hell, and thy didn't have a choice, for, if god is perfect, how can one turn up in any other way than the way god created him? If the whole god story is true, then there is no such thing as free will.

Well, Most evil doers, believe that they are right and the rest of the world is wrong. I think that if you are somebody who believes in God and the Bible, then you will remember that in eating the apple we chose independence, rather than have him take care of everything for us - the father/son rebellion!. So he did try to tell us, but we wouldn't listen, therefore we have to deal with evil of our own free will. And, is it God taking the children/those we love or is it evil (i.e. war, disease etc) Which God is not.
I don't blame God when things go wrong - I feel that the devil, if you like, causes the problems and God loves us and brings comfort where he can.

Im afraid god has chosen to give us free will...that means if we choose to love Him and be loved by Him...we can!! It also means that if we choose to walk into a school and kill a bunch of innocent children...we can too. There's no other way about it. That's why He offers us the promise of heaven...to show there's a better life to come, one without murder and death. But for now, we live under the shadow of our own sin through free will...but He's sent His son to die for our sin, so we can be set free and go to heaven.
I doubt you'll read all that - probably just needed to vent some anger, right? That's cool - I struggle with seeing death in my job as a fire fighter. But God does cause sin - we do.

(Isn't that from a song?) God has allowed us to have free will. If we were not free to choose, then we would be no better than robots programmed to behave in one way or another. Our choices would mean nothing. In order for there to be a sense of what is right and wrong, there must be an absolute right--a standard to measure against. On our own, we can never live up to that standard. We are allowed to make horrible choices sometimes, but there are always consequences for our actions. The results of our actions might not be immediate, but God is just and merciful, and you can be sure that He weeps when children die, and welcome them to Him.

Why is it that when somebody dies they blame God and say why did you allow it to happen but when good things happen and you wake up in the morning and you have food on your table you dont thank God for providing for you. You make your own life. You have choices and when you get greedy and constantly think of yourself and what you can get out life and loose site of God you have made the decision not to follow his Word and the life he has set out for you. So why should He look out for you if you dont look out for Him. Sometimes children do die but have you ever thought that it is maybe their time to die or the fact that the Devil had something to do with it. Blame him for a change.

I am a strong believer, in my mind, i believe than no evil comes from God, society creates its own evil. God gave us free will, so that we can follow our own path and make our own decisions. Children suffer as a result of the evil in society.
