My cat's name is GREASY
Reason: I got him at the SPCA, they told me he was the only survivor in the litter where they found him in a mechanic garage covered in grease! So now, he's my "GreaseMan".

I got a cat, and his name is Diputs-Stupid spelled backwards.
Okay, before everybody gets all riled up, I didn't name him that. I got him from this family about 5 years ago, he was 6 months old, and try and try as I might I couldn't get him to respond to any other name. But, now that I've had him for so long, trust me, the name fits! He has these weird moments where he forgets who he is, he runs from everyone-including me! He'll just sit there, rocking, and he'll look at me funny, and just take off. He's real skittish, and sometimes we call him Dip for short. But it fits, I'm not lying when I tell you it fits, lol.
Regardless, I still love him.

I have two cats named Spock and Snicker.

When we adopted Spock, his ears were much larger than his head so we named him after Spock from Star Trek.

Snicker is a stray we took in about two years ago and got his name from the way his mouth appears. He's in a constant state of snickering at people because of an old fight injury.

We have two cats. I named Angel and I got the name from one of my favorite movies Angels In The Outfield. My other cat 's name is Budweiser. My husband named her, don't ask me why! My husband doesn't even drink beer; he just liked the name! Even so, our cats are very loved, and very spoiled. We got ours too at the SPCA.

A few years back I adopted a cat from the local pound. They were calling him Socks, but I didn't like it. So I looked him in the eye and asked "What's your name?" He said "Reeeeeooow" I thought about it and came up with Reo. I also have two kittens. Feisty and Jack. Feisty is pretty much self explanatory. Jack got his name because he's so laid back and easy going. Jack just fit.

Timothy Jay Katt (aka Timm Katt, Timmy, Bones, Hairball.)

Andreas Linus Fuzzy-Face (aka Andy, Andy Kitty, Door Stop, Fuzz Ball, Brown Fuzzy Bowling Ball, and more recently, "The Rug" )

Angel-Leah Lucy Fuzzy-Face (aka Angel, Angel Kitty, Devil, Devil Kitty, Snowball, Large Lump of White Fur.)

Hummm...the oldest one has the least nicknames!

Timmy's the TimmKatt because I looked at him when he was 2 days old (he was born inmy mom's closet) and noticed his "Tom Cat parts" and decided that since he wasn't going to grow into a Tom Cat, Tim was a "softer" name. Jay was because I had an annoying co-worker who went by Jay, and five week old kittens can be pretty annoying when one is trying to sleep.

Angel and Andy I named when the vet tech described them to me over the phone. We got to Angel-Leah because of Richard Marx's song Angelia, and I wanted to put the accent a little different. Andy, because of a cat in my dream named Andy when I was about 6; Andreas because it's the German form of Andrew and I love the way it sounds, but I don't think I'd like to name an American kid that. Linus because my friend said Andy looked like a Linus, and Lucy because of course Lucy goes with Linus.

The various nicknames over the years...well, most are pretty obvious!

They're not my cats, they're my bf's. There's Panther, but we were debating on Panther and Salem, so if there were to be a birth certificate it would be Salem Von Panther. We chose the name Panther because he is all black, the Salem name was chosen because we are witches, and my bf always wanted a black cat to be his familiar. Then there's Harvest, who unfortunately got hit by a car. The name was chosen because he was orange tabby and we wanted to be different, and thought of the Harvest Moon.

I had a cat named Lucky that died last year. We named him that because he was a black cat, and everyone seems to think they're unlucky, but Lucky was the luckiest cat I'd met.

My other cats name is Mitzi, we named him that because we thought he was a girl at first, but later found out he wasn't.

I have four cats. The oldest is Punkin and I named him that because he is orange. The next is Green and I named him Green because he has great green eyes. Then I have Merry, who got his name from Lord of the Rings movie, (the little hobbit). And my last cat is Mickey, because hes cute like Mickey Mouse.

Sabre as in Light saber (my son love Star Wars) and Bandit from the old Johnny Quest cartoon (the dog was named Bandit).

In the past I had one named "Blimp" cause he was skinny. Dotchin (funny everyone thought the name was German or something) cause when we found him he had a dot on his chin.
And Chinstrap cause he was hanging off the chin of Dotchin once. And my favorite was Tigger, already named when I got him.
