its really stuck on the bottom.i guess i was too busy being in here and forgot.....help !

Put a tsp of oil and 3 cups water , bring to boil and let it sit ... will then be easy to clean

Use detergent soap and spray really hard with water; make sure to rub it with a wet sponge. There are some more effective alternatives, but they damage the pot, such as using strong acids or petrol and fire to clean the insides. When you're done with the safe option, make sure to dry the pot quickly and start cooking the mac. I'm sure you don't want to disappoint people at tonight's barbecue. I doubt an egg salad by itself is very appealing. Clean and cook.

fill with water and 2 tbls salt and boil for 15 minutes

Ugh, what a nightmare!
I do what Squirrel suggested, except that I use one of the plastic scrubbiy-pads so it won't damage the pan so readily.

Boil with baking soda and vinegar. Then use a steel scour pad

put dish detergent in pot with water put on stove boil for awhile it will come out
