"YES OF COURSE", you would probably say. Such an answer is understandable, especially if you are among the many "BIBLE BELIEVERS" who say that they have accepted JESUS as their personal saviour. But just how sure are we that we have the right knowledge about CHRIST or what we know about him actually a myth. I wanna make sure that my knowledge about CHRIST is right, lest I be among those who the Bible forewarns would be deceived and doomed for believing in a different JESUS or a JESUS whom the apostles did not preach.

Jesus said: many will come in my name and say i have done this and that and he said i do not know you. For ther are many christ in the world and many are anti christ for many churches preach a christ but do they preach the true christ. If you ever get a real realationship with the true christ you will be set free with the truth of life and the meaning of what goes on in the world. So don't fall for the anti Christ that all churches preach look for the true Christ and he will set you free.

This is truly a question that has to be answered by ones own heart. The faith in Jesus as ones savior is a very personal and private decision. As for if the Jesus we now and believe in today is the true savior there is allot of factual support for this claim but search your heart and you shall find the answer prayer will help that along.

According to my best sources - and I doubt yours are any better - there is a possibility that an itinerant preacher known as Yeshua lived and died some 2,000 years ago in what is now Israel. Aside from some heavily edited blurbs from the Josephus, there is very little other evidence of his existence or activity.

His modern followers usually attribute authenticity to the texts Roman authorities cobbled together hundreds of years after the events themselves. These are called the "gospels" - whose authorship cannot be traced to witnesses of the events themselves. No one knows who/why they were attributed to people whose names correspond to his reputed associates.

Ravens, Reed agree to six-year extension
Ravens, Reed agree to six-year extension

June 27, 2006

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed agreed to terms Tuesday on a six-year, $40 million contract extension with the team.

Reed was entering the final year of his original contract. The agreement ended off-and-on talks that began last season. Reed's agent, Greg Genske, said his client will receive a $15 million signing bonus in the largest deal ever given to a safety.

"Ed is one of the bright young stars in the NFL," Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said. "He's already had outstanding production, including his MVP season in 2004. He's an emerging leader on our defense, and to the whole team for that matter. The way he works, the way he prepares, speaks volumes to his teammates."

Drafted out of Miami by the Ravens in the first round of the 2002 draft, Reed quickly became one of the league's most dynamic playmakers on defense. He was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2004 and selected to the Pro Bowl in 2003 and 2004.

In 2004, he led the league with nine interceptions and set an NFL record with 358 yards on interception returns.

During his four years with Baltimore, Reed has totaled 307 tackles, knocked away 61 passes and picked off a team-record 22 passes. He has also blocked four punts, returning three for touchdowns.

Despite missing six games last season with a high ankle sprain, Reed was a first alternate to the Pro Bowl.

Simply take a moment to think about the following statement:

"Hello, my name is Jesus. I love you deeply. I have loved you since you were conceived in the womb and I will love you for all eternity. I died for you on the cross because I love you so much. I long to have a loving personal relationship with you. I will answer all of your prayers through my love. But if you do not get down on your knees and worship me, and if you do not EAT MY BODY and DRINK MY BLOOD, then I WILL INCINERATE YOU WITH UNIMAGINABLY TORTUOUS PAIN IN THE FIRES OF HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY BWAH HA HA HA HA HA!"

Yes, this is the central message of Christianity. See John 6:53-54 and Mark 16:16.

Think about this message. We have a being who, according to the Standard Model of God, embodies love. Yet, if you do not get down on your knees and worship him, you will be physically tortured for all eternity. What sort of love is that?

The utter silliness and contradiction of Jesus' core message should make it obvious to you: God is imaginary.

Look below...You can never be 100% right. You could go to the library and take out a book on world religions. You could learn alot. Christians like to think theirs is the only true religion, but that can't be true.

That is why we become students of the Word of God

2Cr 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
