It seems to work for people who own cats. I remember as a child the boy next door would fire stuff at me with his slingshot, until I filled my water pistol with some raunchy perfume and got him good.

I think that sounds like a good idea. Some kids might need the "Super Soaker" treatment though.

I would get a slingshot and fire some stuff back at him, or maybe aim the perfume at his eyes.

Absolutely! Imagine how many tense husband-wife, or mother-toddler or mother-teenager situations could be defused humorously by carefully applied use of water pistols!

I use a spray bottle on my cats and it works wonders. 99% of the time all i have to do is hold the bottle and they will stop the bad behavior. and it works well on my fiance too. ;) keeps him in line.
