I HEAR YA!!

I'm so f..ing sick of Christians too and shoot, I'M A CHRISTIAN! No kidding. I stopped going to church right after we invaded Iraq but I am still a Christian.

I try to live by what I call 'being as Jesus' which means I have no right to dictate to anybody else what to do with their life.

Sometimes I'm scrolling through yahoo answers and click on a question. BOOM there is a fellow, Christian, preaching to some gay guy about how he is wrong.

OMG THAT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!

I truly believe that when those ppl are standing before GOD and Jesus on judgement day, GOD is going to look at them and say, "WHO IN THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PRETENDING TO BE ME? AND TELLING PPL HOW TO LIVE THEIR LIFE?"

Then right after that he is not going to send them straight to hell but rather, he is going to send them back to earth in the year 100BC as a young black female during Roman times = they will be enslaved with no human rights.

I totally agree with you and I resent people trying to shove something down my throat as well. I also have to be fair because people often give Jehovah's Witnesses and other groups the same description. From the experiences I have had so far, a Jehovah's Witness leaves pamphlets for review and does a much better job at describing their views than other groups.
I don't agree with their views, but they have done a good job at telling me views without trying to shove it down my throat. They simply describe them without pressuring a person to believe. I live outside of a city and I don't have many groups come by my house. The Jehovah's Witnesses only come by a couple times a year and they are nice.
I think a person can live a decent and respectable life without believing in any religion. Being an ethical and honest person has nothing to do with believing in a god. I feel that a few groups can be like a high pressure sales person who does not take no for an answer. If the group continues the harassment, see if you can get a restraining order. Some groups get so caught up in trying to save souls etc. that they forget what it means to be a christian. I mean they especially should have respect and toleration for non believers. A group cannot make a person change.

actual everyone isn't meant to tension us. you're actually not compelled to love God it is your decision and that's between you and the Lord. My dad is a christian pastor and hes in comparison to a pair that have a tendency to disrespect catholics. I constantly discovered that in case you think interior the guy up above than i assume it is all there is to do. Yeah im a christian so i know the way it quite is for christians to tell catholics they are doing incorrect yet that doesn't recommend i do it. a million/2 my kinfolk is catholic the different a million/2 is christian and we don't tension those to transform it quite is their decision reason we are going to easily push them away and doubtless they are going to unfastened their faith. so your friends are incorrect tell them to study john 3:18 it purely says if u believe in God you're saved it does not say something approximately what faith you may desire to be to be saved.

All people need to have as many people connected to them as possible, no matter how stupid the reason. It's the primary reason I don't endorse Christianity (or any other religion), and the reason that my husband and I are getting out of our Bible Belt community as soon as our daughter graduates from high school in a year. I'm fed up with Christians who ask "What would Jesus do?" and then live their lives doing just the opposite. What a waste of time and energy!

Add the fact that churches are very profitable businesses and that our idiot of a "President" claims Christianity, and the point grows ever-stronger.

Here's one for you. Some Christians don't even like other Christians. I am a believer bar none. But, I probably could get more intellectual religious thought from someone like you than a fellow Christian just for that same reason. Just remember Dadof2, not all Christians are like that. I choose to believe the majority are not like that. Most of my close and reliable friends don't believe. They are the ones who would help a brother than the Christians you mention

dont generalize and put everyone in the same group. i have been told that i will burn in hell because i dont love/believe in God or Jesus by the 6-year-old sister of one of my friends. does that mean that i think that all Christians try to push their faith on 'non-believers'? no, not more than any other religion. there will always be those few people who think its their job to 'save' people but not everyone does that. i think that people should be teaching their kids tolerance and acceptance towards every belief even if you dont agree with them. a 6-year-old should really not be telling others that they will burn in hell if they dont believe and i really think that people should not push their religion or beliefs on others. being pestered or forced into believing in a faith is not truly believing.

Christian are forgiven of their sins by the grace of Jesus. God gave His son so that you could be forgiven of your sins and enter Heaven.
I would Rather die a christian and find out it was not true then die an unbeliever and found out it all was.
I do think that people should live the right life and let you see how they live and then you ask them about it. Then they could tell you about the Lord. These Christians are trying too hard and running people off instead of saving them.

I have never been able to understand why people that aren't interested in finding out about religion would place themselves in a position to where Christians would be able to bother them in the first place.
If you choose to believe what ever it is you believe that's fine.

Mt 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet

I am a Christian. First off let me say they shouldn't be treating you like that. Yeah, they are pushing their faith on you.
Not all Christains are like that. I am not. I talk about it, but if the person I'm talking to doesn't want to listen, then I quit and just pray for them. God wants Christians to share the Good News and we should, but not to that point.
They should back off and let what they have said sink in and they should continue to pray for you. That's what I would do. Its like the old saying, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink."
You can show a person the way to Christ, but you can't make them believe. All you can do is pray for them.
Sorry you've had a bad experience with Christians.

I won't say that, however, if that was me, giving me that bull, I'll tell them to go" mate with yourselves with that holy thing!" Sorry but they can't, why not press that them, if they cant stop bugging the heck out of you, Gee I think they love doing that to you, instead of realizing they are bringing thy hell to u, their the ones going to that if they can't keep there slobby holy words away from you, Besides can't those Christain's realize that hell is here from the time of bith and time of death, if they don't know that, then they greatly need a reality check, like a , Cat Scan.
