Media ...brainwashing children against ......?

our media is brainwashing small children against ISLAM n Muslims ..... so that when they growup.. they r amongst the "AGAINST ISLAM"adults .....
last night i came upon the movie "aladin" ..... and in it .. they showed Jaffar as Muslim ...and once the Aladdin ..said " we should destroy the pillar of Islam and kill Jaffar"...... Jaffar is a bad person in that movie... depicted as a greedy... and a scary person .... is this what our media is teaching us ......???? i know there are good points also abt media ...but the major (abt 80%)is bad .....

The media is in the brainwashing business period. That's how advertisers get us to buy stuff we really don't need. Ie: the cosmetics, the diet industry, the fast food industry etc. etc.

Well, brainwashing may be a little emotional of a response, however, I would concur all media influences thought to some degree. Media provides different perspective on a subject which promotes ideas.
As a parent, it's your job to assess all those perspectives with your child. Identifying Aladdin as a fictional story devised for entertainment would be an appropriate talk to have with your child if you felt the movie negatively influenced the religious beliefs you wish to convey to your child.

The media push their viewpoint all the time, but if this is what they're doing with regard to Islam, for once I agree with it. Islam has provided ample proof that it refuses to coexist peacefully with the rest of the world.

However, it would be out of character for the media to put aside its moral relativism and take a stand against Islam, so I doubt that Aladdin actually said what you think you heard.

If you cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen. OR Unite Muslims against terrorism and have them unite in one voice as they did when the stupid cartoons of Muhammad come out.

Until THE MAJORITY of Muslims do this - there is no way people will be convinced Islam is peaceful. Frankly - you wont see it happen because most Muslims are hoping these thugs and criminals will force people to convert to Islam.

In spit of that, These Muslim terrorists are killing their fellow Muslims, accusing them of being the enemy without so much as a fair trial. Just flat out murder.

I would not raise my child or grandchild ever to respect Islam. HOWEVER - I would encourage them not to hate as Muslims hate do and as they lie about the living nature of Islam.

Well a true believer cant be washed by the media.Make their believe strong and tell them what was wrong and what was right in the movie.If a Muslim from the childhood strongly believe is Islam would never dare to became a non Muslim as he entered into childhood.Good Luck

that is correct 100% but why you let your children,s to learn from media teach them by yourself and let them know who we are at least give them basic knowledge of Islam to
make them proud to be a Muslim
don't forget the responsibility of every Muslim

It is a terrible thing when children are taught to hate.

We see a lot of that training in the Muslim world too.

the Koran says very plainly that it wants me and my children dead. I dont think the media put it there. Its there in black and white and just because some muslims have decided its not in there best interest to kill me at this present moment and some have decided they want to kill me now does not make me feel better.
