Serves the same purpose. It's the physiological reaction to the body trying to cool itself off. Sweating doesn't burn fat. You can sweat a lot on purpose and lose water weight, but you gain it back as soon as you drink something. Of course, the exercise you do that makes you sweat CAN burn fat!

Yes. Sweating is the body's natural reaction to an increase in its core temperature, and the evaporation of the sweat on the skin, helps to cool the body. It doesn't matter if you're heated up from sitting in the sun, or from running ten miles, its still heat that's making you sweat.

I always thought sweating was a way the body kept cool. Though I have noticed that people that eat a lot of garlic , when they sweat the smell of garlic seems to be strong. Seems to me no matter what the activity working or exercising to some degree some {waste} will be in the sweat.

I have used the dry hot sauna with a heart rate monitor. 175 ~180 Degrees
It can be a great aerobic heart workout. I would have to be working out pretty hard to get my heart rate up that high.
Also After a sauna I feel incredibly clean. My skin feels great & looks Great.
After a workout I can feel a bit grimey. Although I shower after both The perspiration of a workout usually has had to chance to dry up repeadily during the workout. So some of the toxins get reabsorbed.
Of course a workout increases Bone & muscle Strength, Staminia and energy are enhanced. In addition working out is a mood enhancer.
Happy Sweating, God Bless You, ;-)

sweating is a method of cooling down. the moisture on the skin evaporates and effectively takes heat with it.
doesn't matter how you got hot, exercising, hot day etc. sweating has the same effect.

Definetly not! When you work out, your muscles use your body's fat reserves as fuel. When you sweat in the heat, it's pulling moisture out of your body (like a workout) but your body doesn't use the fat. I hope this helped!
