They may believe that you go to heaven or hell as soon as you die, and/or that you can get forgiveness before they commit a sin. None of this is founded upon anything Biblical. You will, upon death, lay in you grave until you are resurrected (Ecc 9:5) (either the first, or the second [Rev 20:6]). God does Not participate in sin, no not a any time, so there can be no prior forgiveness of sin. Forgiveness is for sins that are past, which means that you have given them up, ie. stopped doing them (Rom 3:25) and are now obeying Gods commandments(1John 5:2; Rev 12:17; 14:12; 22:14).

What christians justify suicide? I have never heard of such a thing. Unlesss you are talking about Muslims or some kind of religion like that that do that. Christians do not justify suicides. It is actually condemned. Besides, what does suicide do? Does it end the problem?

When the good folk elect to end it all it's from a momentary in balance caused by endlessly different reasons. I do not believe that Christians or Jesus, or for that matter anyone condones this act. I am aware that in Japan there isn't the same sort of cultural aversion to this self destroying act but even there it isn't the norm. I hope this has helped. Jesus is the answer if you want to be a Christian. Good luck petal.

If Jesus is the answer, what is the question.
Jesus saves. At what bank ?
To commit suicide is the easy way out.
People who committed suicide most likely did not get any respect while they were alive,
and surely will get no respect for being cowards for having pulled the plug on themselves.

Are you talking about the suicide bombers, in Iraqi? They are of a different religion, separate from the one Christan's believe. Now as far as Christians, Catholics, whatever that take their own life, may have nothing to do with their religion. The human mind and heart, can only handle so much. It maybe something we may never be able to fully understand, how one can take their own life. I would imagine they were hurting so much, that they just wanted it to be over with and they saw no other way out.

The Christian faith says that suicide is a sin... actually one of the worst sins.

But, I think the more rational Christians, like myself, do recognize in certain cases that we should have a right to end our life... humanely. For example, if life support is keeping someone alive at the hospital but we know that person is never going to be conscious ever again, then I do believe in letting them die.

I also believe if a person has a terrible illness that is like torturing them until the day they die, then that person should have the right to end their life.

All of society has a different opinion on whether suicide is ever justified. Read the bible. It gives a much better answer than we mere human beings ever could.

Some never truely believe and get into a depression and kill themselves. I can't justify suicide for anyone. Anyone who does is not a christian from my point of view.

If you are referencing Jim Jones, etc. Then understand that they are just cults that tried to use certain christian teachings to control people for secular purposes.

I don't think people justify suicide...I think we try to accept that it is possible that they asked for forgiveness at their last moment of consciousness. What does this have to do with Jesus being the answer?

Because Jesus was the first person to commit suicide. He asked his friend Judas to turn him in so that he can become a martyr. Otherwise Jesus would only be known as the illegitimate child of the adulterous Mary.
