Abortion ! Pro life equals eternal death, what do you think?

In order to sell its self serving view that abortion is wrong, the pro-life movement must use deceit and lies. The pro-life movement quotes the Bible out of context. The pro-life movement changes the meaning of words to support its anti-God point of view. The pro-life movement uses violence to achieve its goals. The pro-life movement calls people names and publishes untruthful information to achieve its goals. The pro-life movement is acting as a prophet in this respect.
The Bible warns:Deuteronomy 18:20-22
20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."
21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

No where in the Bible does it say that an abortion is the shedding of innocent blood. No where in the Bible does it say that Abortion is wrong. And you can say that you are not prophetising when you say you know Gods intent about abortion, but that is deceitful. God himself uses abortion in the form of miscarriage. When a woman prays to God asking his will regarding abortion and he says that it is required, then that negates the pro life view. The pro-life view causes eternal death in hell whereas the pro choice view allows for God's grace in the form of eternal life.

Nothing that has been posted by the pro-life anti Christ group has given any support for their claim that abortion is a sin. There has been a lot of deciet. But no facts. Please, ask for forgiveness before you spout any more of your sinful advice.

Those who are pro life only have their god to blame for the death of fetuses. And the horrible deaths that they photograph in their sick minds are caused by their god. MY GOD protects the soul of the fetus and protects it from death. MY GOD does not murder children as the pro life god does.
By their own admission, the pro life group follows an evil god that destroys life during abortion and miscarriage. I cannot follow such a god.

You make some very interesting points here, many of them things that I had never thought of before, especially the Biblical aspects.

I, myself, am Pro-Choice. I live in a very conservative place, and I am always getting into discussions with Pro-Life folks who try to scare me into changing my mind by promising me that I will go to hell because I support murderers, etc. One of their favorite arguments is that "abortion stops a beating heart". I always find this interesting, because shooting a women's health doctor who also happens to offer abortion services in the head with a high-powered rifle also stops a beating heart, and they somehow don't see the irony of the situation, or their own hypocrisy. They always maintain that the ones who do it act out of love for fetuses, who cannot speak for themselves, and that their violent means are righteous because they serve a greater good. When I remind them that God reserves the right of judgement for Himself, and Himself alone, they always tell me I am beyond help, call me rude names, insult my intelligence and my morals, and often end up screaming hysterically.

Another thing that I personally find ironic is that people who are Pro-Life often are the same people who do not want sex education taught in schools, or birth control to be readily available to minors. It seems to me that they deny services to prevent pregnancy in the first place to the very people who need them most, and then also want to deny them the means to terminate those unwanted pregnancies when they occur. Giving someone no options at all does not seem very loving to me...

The thing that really scares me about the Pro-Life movement is that they seem to want the status of women reduced to that of a brood mare--a woman's highest and most noble calling in life must be to bear children. About 10 years ago, the leader of Operation Rescue, a very vocal Pro-Life group that supports everything in the name of stopping abortion, including endorsing violence, gave an interview. When asked what his organization's goals are for the future, his response scared me to death. He stated that after they manage to make abortion illegal in the US in ANY form, including cases where the life of the mother is in danger, they plan to work on making it illegal for a woman to not take proper care of herself while pregnant. His view of the future includes arrest and incarceration for pregnant women who smoke, drink, or even do not follow doctors orders carefully while pregnant. When the interviewer asked him for clarification, he stated that a woman's most important purpose is the bearing of children, and those that do not take that responsibility seriously should be forcibly separated from their families (including any other children they have at home) and forced to remain in a special facility where they are forced to be healthy during the entire pregnancy. Honestly, that's when I knew that some of the people on that side of the whole abortion issue are actually insane.

I thank you heartily for giving me more food for thought on this issue, as it is very important to me.

Pro abortion goes against the rights of women and their freedom of power over their own bodies. It will start with one thing and then lead to OTHER laws on women's bodies! This about MUCH more than the abortion itself - it is about trmoving WOMEN'S RIGHTS! You women need to WAKE THE HELL UP before you have NO rights again. And itis NOT even a BABY at this stage!! ALSO, the SAME people out here who quote the BIBLE and call abortion "murder" all in the name of god - YOU people are the very same ones who support other MURDERS like the death penalty and war. Murder is murder - be it a criminal on death row OR an embryo, you idiots! A life taken is a life taken. YOU SHOULD NOT JUDGE OTHERS FOR HAVING AN ABORTION. NOT everyone is a christian and they should NOT be forced to live by christianity! And YES, there ARE good resons to have abortions. (Rape, failed contraceptives, illness, women who's bodies cannot handle childbirth....) MANY women do not get pregnant out of carelessness of "spreading their legs for pleasure." No one should be forced to give birth or be pregnant if they tried avoiding pregnancy. A woman has every right to enjoy a healthy sex life and not carry a child if she chooses not to. Bottom line: If you're against abortion - then don't have one. But the rest of the world can decide for themselves. It's fair for a woman have a say over her own body, not decided for her by others. There's no proof there is a god and it's unjust to FORCE everyone to live by the words of christianity. THAT is a fact. Maybe if YOU get pregnant by a rapist, you might feel totally DIFFERENT about being forced to go through pregnancy. You DON'T KNOW how you'd feel unless it happened. It should be a woman's right to choose. Bearing children is NOT the sole purpose of what women are here for.

what are you babbling about? If you know so much about the bible then you should know that one of the 10 commandments clearly states that THOU SHALT NOT KILL!!!! So therefore if you go and have an abortion, then you are KILLING a baby!! Who do you think you are to be able to make this decision for someone else's life as to whether they should live or die? YOU are NOT God. Only he has the authority to make that decision. And why are you quoting Deuteronomy if somebody is just stating what scripture says? Aren't they doing exactly what you just did? A prophet is somebody who is getting a direct communication from God to say what His will is. Quoting scripture does not make that person a prophet any more than it just made you one for quoting Deuteronomy. What is the Pro-life movement saying (not the crazy ones on line) that is untrue or unscriptural?

I just don't understand how a woman can choose to have an abortion. Just looking around at my cousins and little kids at my church and imagining them not there breaks my heart. It doesn't matter if you want a kid or not, it is a life. That baby could grow up to be the next president or the scientist who discovers aliens. No one knows what that life could accomplish. This is the hardest post I have ever done because I can't stop thinking of all the lives that have been lost to abortion. I beg women to think before they get one and imagine your life in the future even if you don't keep the baby.

I am against abortion, killing the life of one that has done nothing wrong, has no way to defend themselves is wrong. Because we have no idea, just whose life we are taking away. For all we know, we may have already killed the life, that may have found the cure for aids, or another illness that has yet to find the cure.
Someone needs to stand up for the ones who can't speak for themselves, and as long as they go about it the right way, in a non-violence way, then I think they should.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22, is not talking about someone speaking out against abortion, it is talking about something much different.

Sorry, but the pro-life movement is not a prophet, so all your scriptures are moot. However they are doing what they can to protect the children.

Killing the unborn and blaming those who oppose it? Just think of how backwards that is. God everywhere demands us to help the helpless not to abort them.
Who is the wicked man spoken of in Psalm 10? one who helps protect the innocent?, How much more innocent or helpless can one be than a child in the womb of its mother, a place that was designed for a child's protection and nourishment?

PS for those who have been through this and now regret it I am not trying to heap up guilt. There is a restoration in Christ

Additional details: Immediately after the giving of the law Moses gives us a commentary on it in Ex 21. In chapter 20 we are taught do not murder, that covers all taking of innocent life. In 21 vs 22-23 a child in the womb is given the same rights as one living. As to your accusations of those who oppose abortion being wrong and those for it somehow bringing eternal life ( how this ending of life brings life is beyond me and not scriptural) have you not read what God says about this?

well lets see I think you said that pro life people use violence to get there point across yet the pro choice people use violence to completely end the life of a child because the opened there legs for pleasure but didn't want the possible consequences of having sex. You see sex is ultimately for procreation so by having sex you are taking a chance of procreating but as a pro choice person you feel that you may take the easy way out and violently kill a baby so you don't have to deal with the choice you made to have sex.

I think you need to take a look at some torn up bodies of unborn humans.
You seem blissfully unaware that it is actually killing. But then again, maybe you are the guy who works at the shelter who's job it is to put cats and dogs to sleep. In that case, I can understand where your black heart comes from.
