people, ESPECIALLY with regard to pagan religions Wicca etc. i don't need to be saved! i don't tell you what you should believe in, it's very arrogant and at least i've come to my beliefs through making up my own mind and looking into my own heart, and not just taken it as read from someone else. of course i don't mean all Christians, and in any case i think true Christians are good, ie do unto others etc. just those agressive, self righteous ones! thankyou. Blessed be.

when i stated "i don't need to be saved" it means I believe i am quite capable of saving myself, thank you very much! Each of us has responsibility as an individual and the power to change things for good or bad, and affect our own progress spiritually. Just because i don't go to church does not mean i will go to 'hell', as i was told at school! and just because you go to church and read the Bible, does not mean you will go to 'heaven' if you are an unpleasant person! By the way, i do believe in Jesus, i think he was a very special, good man, and some so-called Christians would benefit from following his example instead of quoting meaningless (and often mean)words at people. "an eye for an eye"?? do you think that is what Jesus really believed?

Thier christian cult is based on lies, deciet and fear. So they think that since that is why they stay, they can use the same tactics to convince others to join.
And thankfully, it's not working. More and more christian churches are being bulldozed to the ground, or in one case in my city, has been turned into a gay nightclub (SOO funny!).
And they feel more and more desperate.
Just ignore them, they are incapable of living by the same rules they want to force onto every one else. Hypocrites, all of them.

Christians are commissioned by God to tell others about their faith. Which doesn't include forcing the christian belief down somebody's throat. I try to go evangelizing at least once a week. After years of talking to many people I realized that I can't change the heart of an individual. So I don't force myself upon people.
On the other hand if the person allows me I will tell them what I know is the truth. For me it's just like if you have something good you may just keep it to your self but if you have something great you want others to share in what you have.
Also you might be running into christians who are over-zealous but in the end your mind can only be change by you.

I'm a Christian and I believe you, kinda. There are some Christians who have the gift of evangelism which is when they see someone not saved (from our point of view) and they want to save others. Their heart is troubled knowing that they can save people so they go out and do this. In doing so, they step on toes and try to force their beliefs down other's throats. How they go about doing this is wrong. I am sorry that you feel this way but I know how it is. I've had people come up to me trying to force their beliefs down my throat and it doesn't taste good when they do it. However, as a Christian, it feels like society is trying to force feed us stuff that we don't believe. Touchy subject, I know, but I'm going to use this as just an example, I'm not trying to change minds. Gay marriage. To Christians, it is wrong. Now society is telling us that it is okay. To us, it feels like everyone else is trying to tell us what is right and what is wrong when it goes against our beliefs. I do know how you feel but there's always two sides of the story. I hope this helps you!

I think there are 2 kinds of christians who do this.
One are the fundamentalists who dont really pray or know God but have been indoctrinated and are as opiniated as any other fundamentalists (muslim, jew, atheists) The only way they can reinforce who they are is to force their beliefs on others. Their 'religion' often has a big element of hate directed at people who are not like them.
The other kind are people who genuinely believe in God, have thought it through, prayed and read the bible and are trying to follow Jesus by telling non-believers the good news.
Then there are some who believe but know that God in his time will reach you if He chooses to and that their 'job' is just to love you as you are. Mother Theresa didnt preach much, she just loved.... the poor, the starving, the sick and dying. Only if someone asked why she spent her life doing it would she stop and explain.

The Bible tells believers to "go forth and preach the Gospel" ... in other words, followers believe that all people must be told about Christianity and the supposed way to being right with their God.
They do it with varying degrees of "force," based upon their own individual personalities. Some will simply discuss, others will debate, others will argue, others will hound you until you create physical distance.
Personally, I respect Christians who attempt to discuss their beliefs with others - it's consistent with their religion. I don't respect Christians who only communicate with other Christians (similiar to the "preaching to the choir" concept) and are afraid of everyone else ... who separate themselves from others because they perceive non-believers as being "unclean" or offensive in some way. Unfortunately this latter type seems to be becoming more uncommon, but then again, the entire American public seems to be becoming more and more disconnected and antisocial, anyway.

I DON'T FORCE BUT ONLY SHOW THE ((TRUTH )) IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO ACCEPT OR DENIE.
De 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
De 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
De 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

I notice some so-called Christians are just not listening to what you are saying! it's like a recorded message they just can't help themselves from repeating! and yes, sooo arrogant (the guy with the truck on the freeway etc) what makes you people think YOU know it all, WHY are you right? i could just as easily say, well, i can see that your standing on the edge of a cliff you can't see! i just want to save YOU! live and let live, no-one, no matter how much they believe KNOWS for sure! and in the meantime, if someone is doing no harm, leave them alone!

Well, all I can say is that the world was full of people who thought like you and God flooded it! Scientists have even found the Ark to prove it! I agree that forcing beliefs of any nature are wrong. I can not change your heart only God can, but I have been instructed to at least plant the seed of truth. I love God and I just want everyone to experience his Joy, Mercy, and Grace as I have.
Have a great day and God Bless!

You can't force anything especially faith on a person.
Forget religion.
Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christ is the tree of life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

I liken those kind to the Borg on Star Trek: The Next Generation, "you WILL be assimilated!" While all non-Christians get it to a certain point the neo-pagans seem to get it the worst of all. They can't seem to grasp the concept that, firstly, most neo-pagans WERE Christians and know the doctrine as well as they do and, secondly, don't believe it! They also don't realize that by doing this all they are doing is shoving us further away, not bringing us 'back'. We don't push our beliefs on them, they should extend the same courtesy to us as well.

Yes dead right....even hate mail...especially if you leave church ianity after a long while.
Yes ones own spirit can be made more mature ready for its next incarnation (if already reincarnated...about 1.7 billion of those on earth now)
but times are urgent the clock is ticking for the earth transformations...
We must get our spirits decidedly into the service to others orientation the golden rule...do unto other how you would want done to yourself.
