Those who seek truth should not seek them in commercial or political products. The Da Vinci Code is a very successful book, first because it is well written, and secondly because everybody wants to know what all the fuss is about. The Bible (Greek word meaning Book) is the result of a series of poor translations and worse misunderstanding combine with a willful attempt at subverting the minds of the masses. As far as success as book goes, The Da Vinci Code comes in a poor second to the Bible. In the amount of truth behind each they are equal, but if you are asking which is more successful in bending that truth, again the Bible is the clear winner.

You can't compare them. The Bible is a group of many different stories about many different things, some of which explain how the world came to be. The Da Vinci Code , if you are speaking of Dan Brown's novel, was never meant to be a substitute for the Bible. It merely points out things that you wouldn't read about in the Bible. I am frustrated by the people who think that you have to choose one or the other.
They are not meant to compete. You can read the Da Vinci Code, and that doesn't make you a hyprocrite if you believe that the Bible if the Word of God. Likewise, you can read the Bible, and not necessarily believe every word of it. People should use their minds and not think what others tell them to...

The DA vinci code was made from some atheist trying to get as good a outcome as the passion of the Christ did but as you surly noticed the DA vinci code did poorly in the theaters because America is still mostly Christians we don't know or realize that because not very often Christians do idiotic things on TV to get in the news.

I know its the Bible because i have tested both and it is undisputable. The evidences are clear and the prophecies are all correct thus far that the Bible predicts. Da Vinci Code is in direct contradiction to this and it still has no real basis or evidence to back it up.

Da Vinci Code is a fiction book. I would think only 20% of it is based on any kind of fact. It is a beach book, well written.
Bible is a God's manual for our life. We have a lot of historical documents to back up what the Bible says. For example, the historical figure of Jesus...there is so much historical evidence of his historical figure, that we do not even have to bring in Bible to prove that.
