I belive they didnt they had different fathers, Cain was fathered by the serpant, and abel by Adam. The bible says thay abel was like adam, and adams 2nd son seth was like adam it makes no mention of cain being like adam. Why would God punish eve with childbirth if they ate fruit. When a plant bears fruit it reproduces. Why would adam and eve cover their private parts when confronted by God?? the bible says that the serpant was beautiful creature that stood upright!

Gen 4:1 says that Adam had sex with eve, she conceived and had cain.

Cain was the son of the serpant, the tree of life and knowledge was the knowledge of reproduction. the serpant beguild her (talked her in to having sex) then she had sex with adam, she got pregnant both times. Because of what happened, God cursed all 3 of them, the serpant was turned to a snake, Even got a period, and Adam a shorter life.
Keep in mind that the serpant was NOT a snake until AFTER God cursed him to crawl on his belly. In the garden of eden, The serpant was able to walk upright. . . . like a half human. Missing link and all ya know.

its just a story and although cain and abel were brothers it does not mean that they had the same character. adam and eve covered their parts because they were ashamed before god.

Using your same logic, why would God have cursed Adam with tilling the soil?
They were both fathered by Adam.

as for the fruit..i think eve took a bite then her eyes were opened, she was looking saying adam!! adam!! look!! she wasnt looking at adams nakedness then adam took a bite and both of them were looking around at the things they had never seen, they seen the world in a different light!..then they looked at each other saw they were naked and were ashamed...they were fooled!!
