I just want to know if it is something I should expect as normal. I will do something like forget something she said or not hear something she sais or drink too quickly or not understand what she is trying to say or not catch on to something quick enough and she will get irritated. She is usually not real rude but she does roll her eyes, tell me " whatever", act moody, or just show that she is annoyed by her tone of voice. We are both in our early thirties. I am learning to change some things about myself but I don't like her being irritated with atleast once aday. When it comes to my listening. I listen well when we are engaged in a conversation. But if I am watching T.V., deep in thought, or on the computer - I might not notice or clearly hear her if she all of a sudden sais something. I have been that way for most of my life. She pointed out I didn't do it when we were first dating. She gets real irritated at this. Any advice? And is this normal? BTW. She is on a birthcontrol ring.

I would tell her that you're not stupid and you're not trying to make her angry or let her down.

Its not uncommon for a woman to get irritated with her lover. However its not something that i would excuse just because its 'normal'. There is still politeness and caring and love which allows for some sort of grace in all situations.

You should always be honest with your partner. Tell her that you feel like you're less of a human and unloved whenever she treats you like this, its the same as her saying "you stupid retard WTF" every time she rolls her eyes and gets short with you.

Its uncalled for and not needed. But it happens in most relationships, and before you know it you end up fighting about everything all the time, because she feels overwhelmed and you feel victimized.

talk talk talk. It always helps.

Sounds a lil like me. And I know this isn't normal. Maybe sit down with her and tell her what you think. Be as nice as you can about it, so she wont think u r being a jerk. My husband did this with me. I didn't realize what a jerk I was being to him. So, I started listening to myself, and that when I knew I nagged to much. So now everyday I try to tell him three things he has done that is good that day, and try not to nag alot because he really is an awsome person. Give her some time though. When you first tell her this she isn't going to be to nice about it. She may think u r being mean. Once she pays attention to what she is saying it will change if she loves and respects you.

what the hell is wrong with you? what you need to do is tell her that when you are watching tv, deep in thought, or on the computer that you cant here all that well, Hey if its bothering you this much then tell her to write it down on a posted. and yes it is normal for a woman to get irritated with her man you might want to plan a vaction for the two of you or send her to a spa by herself or with one of her friends trust me she will be a changed person.

To be honest, you sound like one irritating motherf**r. Also you are way too sensitive. Women get irritable, that's just how it is. Being too sensitive is likely to irritate her.

Have a beer and relax.

If you said you've been like this since you started dating her, I will advice you to be patient, she will get use to you or you will get use to her.

well...

For me...

The SECOND time she said "whatever" would be her last.

I demand respect from my women, as they should expect (and do receive) it from me.

I'd not invest a lot more time on this one.... Personally.
