Give aerobics a go. Not only will it tone you up all over, you will get that limber 'athletic' look and walk as a bonus. Aim to do 3 intermediate - advanced classes a week (if you are a beginner, aim for 3 beginner - intermediate classes). And if your local gym offers them, think about adding a couple of 'legs, butts and tums' classes a week to target difficult spots or think about doing 2 Body Pump classes instead as weights are great for speedy toning and shifting fat.

do breathing excercise kapalbhati for 15 mins in the morning (before eating anything) and 15 mins in the evening.in this you have to pull in your stomach as much as u can when u breathe out and then breathe in.this will burn the fats and within a week you will lose 2-3 kgs and about 10 kgs in 2-3 months.there are six more breathing excercises in yoga but for weight loss kapalbhati is enough.this will benefit u in other diseases also.

Cardio vasuclar work is a must. Running is superb but high impact. Speed walking and swimming better for joints as is cycling. Sit ups tone the muscles that will be seen when you lose the cover of fat by doing CV work.

you need to first cut the carbs and fat intake on your food. situps are mostly for the stomach. walking several miles a day will burn off the body fat and help tone you up.

You can't spot reduce. The best way is to do sustained activity like running or walking to burn calories. Cut the fatty junk food out of your diet. Do exercises to strengthen and tone your abs.

since i'm a doctor i'm obliged to say there are no homeopatic or other medicines to do it...only way is-workout...answers 2-5 from top are a good ones...running,swimming,in line skating(very good for burning fat)...if u feel like you can go ti boxing gym-it's the hardest training in sport so it will help faster than some other methods...anyway-regular,non excessive workout will do it!
